@MasterMetallicaCover Yeah tahts so funny, Rob ha sto teach the rest of metallica how to play their own song! Classic! Rob learns songs really fast, considerng how many tallica songs he has to learn when joining its quite amazing!
Well after reserch its sposedly something of Wizard of Oz. Monkey chant or something. Not sure if that has anything do to with Vikings but i never watched that movie
@elcosto Its taken from a negative aspect of corporate america, you know, fat cats. The chant goes "all we own, we ooo-own" The Justice album is about government related issues. Blackened is about nuclear weapon relations, and justice for all is about corruption and weakness in the justice system, One is about pointless war and soldiers suffering (vietnam and such).. the album is a masterpiece, including on the lyrical side!
@elcosto Yep! If you read the lyrics of the song and justice for all, and try to thing about it in a "deep" way, you see the true genius of James Hetfield, because its utterly amazing how well it is written and put together! :) Yes, horns up for Metallica!!! \m/
@campoobutt No it isnt stupid blubber-butt! It predates wizard of Oz. by MANY years. Sheezh.. kids nowadays, thinks everything got made up almost here and now.
@campoobutt Well yes, the melody itself maybe! I`m talking about the "All we own, we own" lyrical part, of which metallicas meaning was put into a context of big corporate fat cats. This is what the justice album is about. Corruption, government, big money.. all this.
Metallicas meaning was never anything wizard of oz, it just so happens that the melody-line itself is from this. Everything else is not related to this, not even the meaning of the intro to the song.
PLayboy magazine Hetfield stated: "There are some songs on there I don't like. 'Don't Tread on Me', probably not one of my favorite songs musically."....he also said Through the Never is "wacky"...and with Escape i forgot what he said
but then again....they also swore not to play And Justice for All live ever again...but come May 16th 2008, which was my first Metallcia concert...BOOM...we get the entire And Justice for All
3:03 my god :X Justice sound everyone ?

@niggasjit
Firstly, I'm far from a "kid"
Secondly, Wizard of Oz was made in the 1930's. How could the 30's be considered "almost here and now"?
