Happy Veteran's Day everyone! I know cousin Karl was in the Army and I think cousin, Bobby Engemann was also in the Army. • @standup4America Yeah, what a great trio they were! You can post this vid just by hitting the fav button, but if you meant your pic, I don't think YT have facilities for that.

    Michael

  • @nascio100 Thanks for your kind comments, Michael, and also for the subscription, I hope you will find many more to add to your collection!

  • @lettermen1 What studio did the Lettermen first record in?

Did they ever use Gold Star?

  • @4doororphan The first ever cou;le of singles were on Warner Bros before they made it big on Capitol. Their Cd "Greatest Movie Hits" was released on Pat Boones' Gold label in 2000, but that's probably different to gold star?? - I'll ask around for you and get back to you.

  • @4doororphan OK more info for you:- the early records were recorded at Goldstar and Western recorders, later it was Capitol A or B studio. Hope this is ok for you.

  • Dear Kuya Cezar, Matagal ko ng katipan si Rudy hangang sa iwanan n'ya ako.

    Ayan mga ala-alang malayo na.

  • How they arrange the songs, their melody, their blending, their emotions, n their feelings when they sing the song, that's the ingredients of "The Lettermen" no wonder they are still the best... more power to you guys... we love you...

  • i agree

  • I remember this song by Elvis. I've always associated it with him. But The Lettermen are also good--and one of my favorite singing groups.

  • They formed before the those youngsters Beatles and Rolling Stones

  • You are correct, Danny!

  • I love the Lettermen sound and they've been my favorite. Their songs are heavenly...

  • Thanks, Roger, Hope you find some more that you like!

  • The Lettermen - ALWAYS THE BEST FOR DECADES AND WILL ALWAYS BE! JS

  • Agreed again, John!! And thanks again!

  • a mellow, sweet song, that i love. It's not as good as what as Elvis did.

  • The Lettermen were not as good the King. But....they were definitely in his court.

  • This has always been my 2nd favorite song from the Lettermen Phil. Bet you know the first !

Nice to see you returning Micky!

  • Love the dedication, Phil..Lettermen fans are true romantics..arent we? And always will be..:) Thnx <3

  • Couldn't have said it any better, Dar!

  • Yeah, it's been a popular song by so many artists now, and rightly so!!

  • Very Good! But Ray Peterson recorded this before the Lettermen or Elvis and did and Ray did an OUTSTANDING VOCAL.

  • How could an adolescent girl not thrill to hearing this song dedicated to her today?

  • I don't think that's possible!

  • very nice version, different than elvis or peterson, thanks for posting

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to post these beautiful songs. I'm 47 yrs. old and I'm doing my part to keep these songs alive by performing them in public. The Lettermen were an inspiration to me in the 70's and they continue to be. God Bless!

  • what circa was this?

  • Jan 1964.

  • ANOTHER ONE BETTER THEN ELVIS
