It's better to draw it big then shrink it down. It allows you to be more detailed. That's my experience doing Flash games.

Maybe we can work together some day. I want to make MUGEN chars too. I'm interested in game design and I want to do fighting games too. I'm doing shmups so far though.

I´m drawing a character to and have a problem. the size of my chara depends on the number of pixels. a height of 140 pixels is already prety big. how do I change that. congratulations for your good work.

yeah, that is ok for a High resolution type character. you can resize the characters size in the CNS where it tells you the width and hight of your character.
