its was one of the Davey Crockett systems, the smallest one of these was just a Recoilless Rifle that you could be caught in the fallout of if you fired it
@TAkabir 75 miles? name one, the only operational gun with that kind of range that I know of where the Paris guns used in WW1 and they couldent move and where basicaly a masive waste of resorces
@TAkabir larger projectile= smaller range, smaller projectile, further range. have to understand that the projectile for that particular gun.. was fucking massive lol
@dycarbon1 in Easter Europe, more specifically during cold war, in Poland and Slovakia were stationed russian troops with nuclear grenade launchers.
You don't have to fire Tsar bomba, which will wipe out 2 cities. You can fire something with radius of grenade but instead of shrapnels, you anihilate explosion zone.
Extremely useful against tanks and bunkers if you ask me.
I s'pose this gun was invented with exactly same thought. It fires the most effective bullet of times.
Dora 80cm/ Range 29 miles, fired only 45 shells

what was the effective radius of the shell fired from this cannon, since it only can fire a shell up-to 18 miles which isn't much.

@TAkabir about 10 miles lol

@LHRShadow That is not good, back in ww2 there were artillery that can shoot as far as 75 miles/or Km.

Why would a gun wanna file a nuclear warhead? Is it not suicide?
