mostly, cause if your computer crashes and you deleted your footage off the card its gone, but if you recorded on tape you can always recapture, and it doesnt compress as much as flash based camcorders

you should shoot in 30p instead of 24p.

Unless you want your video to look like it does....a little strobey and what not...then you should def go to 30p.

and if you want your slow motion to look amazing then shoot the next setting up after double the frame rate.

EX: 30 fps...60 shutter speed is double the frame rate...so shoot at 120.

if you stay shooting 24p shoot at whatever shutter speed is closest to triple.

it'll look soooo much better.

ya like what verafly6 said its going to drag a little more in 24pa and 24p less so if the shuter is right at 48

try 30p at 60 shutter the slow motion will be a lot more smooth and crisp

@possjustin yeee furshure i had no plans of making that slow motion. i forgot to put steady shot on and it came out a little bumpy on that shot so i slow mod it as best as a could to make the shakes and bumps less recognizable.

@lukejconnor its 24p advanced wen your on final cut pro go onto your easy settings and select 24pa pull down romoval or sumthing like that and then capture your footage.
