@MasterGiegue I don't think the Nazi references are too bad. It's the bad guys saluting, not the good guys. Plus, if you wanted to remove every single nazi reference in the entire game, you would have to change the entire plot line (Reconstruction of animals, Nazi-like military, "Nice person hot springs" etc. etc.).

They're very bad because if a parent goes "I dont like this" Nintendo risk getting into trouble, and this is why they wont bring the game over.

If they had to cut it out, they'd have to change the whole game, its just not worth it.

There is so much you cant do on tv anymore, same with video games.

It's quite funny how people worry about censorship of art, when really there is a censor. Fear.

It's never how good the product is, it always seems to be how people will react to it. People think if the reaction is negative, people won't like it. I think because of this, many great things have been surpressed and forgotten.

I respect the person who is willing to take a chance. I think Nintendo should do the same.

@garfocusalternate Well, Nintendo is a profit-based organization. Earthbound didn't sell half as well in NA as it did in Japan. They're worried the Mother series wouldn't sell well enough. And especially now that they've had several executives take serious salary cuts, they're in no position to be taking chances.
