Mini Donkeys are more adventurous than regular donkeys. They don't run away from scary things like the big ones do. If you raise them from when they're foals around dogs they'll most likely be good :)

@Ziselen1 Probably because they don't see any difference between dogs and wolves or coyotes. Domestic dogs can and do prey on livestock just like wild canids do. Donkeys are apparently smart enough to be wary of things that can kill them, which is sadly more than can be said of many humans.
