  • this game is not hard, it's one of the easiest megaman with megaman 2.

the difficulty of megaman 9 is one of the best balanced in all the series.

people who say this game is hard are call of dutards.

  • I-I HAVE TAKE THE ISOTOPE

    AND IT WILL COST METLDOWN

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO MY-

    TOO LATE-TOO LATE-TOO LATE-TOO LATE

  • This game is not hard at all.The only parts that were even mildly difficult were plug man and tornado man stages, devil virus and the final boss. The rest is easy.

  • i wish i could go back in time; i would bring megaman 9 back with me and change its name to megaman 4, thus forever replacing that mediocre piece of dog turd with this classic.

  • @panch0bill What the fuck are you talking about? Mega man 4 was a masterpiece.

  • Actually, Galaxy Man looks a lot like those UFO monsters from Earthbound with legs. If any of you kids are old enough to remember that game, of course...

  • COW ORKER JIM. THUMBS UP IF YOU GET IT.

  • Best Megaman 9 soundtrack :P

  • fits perfectly

  • they blow mega man 9 out of the park with the music, i mean don't get me wrong i love mm 10 but ever song on mm 9 is freaken awesome. the best music in a mega man game i only say mega man 2 has better music but just cause of nostalgic reasons.

  • yeahyeahyeah

  • this tune is like someone between baroque and dance music

    im serious

  • Comment removed

  • @artistmaterial09 That's like saying apples are better than bread,THEY DON'T FUCKING MATCH.

  • this music is so awesome!

  • Should I qualify this as an 8 bit soundtrack or a new generation soundtrack???

  • umm...new 8-bit soundtrack

  • 0:24 - 0:35 it make me wanna Dance or Hiphop.

  • Loser

  • What the hell is wrong with you?

  • Who will you see warping through space, it is Galaxy Man

With his black hole bomb in his hand, he'll do what no other can

  • DAMN this one is so bouncy

  • Do you guys know where I can find sheet music for this?

  • 0:24-0:36

  • 0:36 - 0:44

  • YES.

  • Galaxy Man is one of the coolest characters I've ever seen in a game. Though the fight's pretty pathetic, he has a cool stage and weapon.

  • Judging from Galaxy man's appearance, I'm judging that he's the lovechild of Astro Man and a plate.

  • I bought before I ever even played megaman games. And when i finished it, I bought Megaman 1, 2, and 3 on Wii and I also ordered the megaman anniversary collection from amazon. by the way, is the anniversary collection celebrating 15 or 20 years of megaman?

  • I think 15

  • well doesn't really mater now he's like 22

  • this one is way better than 2

  • you guys are idiots this game was the most recent megaman, and it was made on purpose to be way harder than any other one.

  • I HAVE TAKE THE ISOTOPE

  • How? xD

  • I dunno, just thought I'd say it to see how you replied.

  • When you're a kid MM games are hard.

But as you grow up they get easier, like I beat MM5 6 and 7 in one day with out dying on any of them back when I was thirteen.

  • Well, 5 6 and 7 are much, much easier than 1, though. :)

But really, for those of us that still play retro games, we THRIVE on difficult old-school games for the most part. (As long as they're good, that is.)

Except Gradius III on MAME. LOL. That's just insane.

  • Yeah, MM5 is especially easy. They're very generous with lives in that game, they show up at double the rate of other MM games. Also, none of the bosses in that game are hard.

  • MM9 is wicked hard though.

  • It's not that hard after you beat it a few times. But if you can do that, then you're already a master.

  • Appart from a few stages. Splash Woman's Galaxy Man's and Concrete Man's stages are easy as hell.

  • Your point makes alot more sense if you say the MM games were easier instead of harder than when you've become an adult.

  • I hate when people talk about this game's difficulty. Suck it up, pansies.

When us NES kids were little, we had to MASTER games in order to beat them. Nowadays, people can buy a game and finish it in a week. Wussy games that hold you by the freaking hand have infested the gaming market. Back in the day, you had to be GOOD. They don't make games like Battletoads and Super Ghouls & Ghosts anymore, that's for sure.

  • I agree completely, finally someone agrees...I mean this is a classic megaman game..since when was any MM game easy let alone the NES ones. I dont think the game was hard enough really outside the wily battle.

  • I agree too, I'm from the old school. I gotta admit...I've gotten soft over the years though..this game kick my tail! LOL especially the willy lvls. This is coming from a man whos beaten 1-4 megamans on the orginal NES

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus You want a perfect example of that? try Gradius Rebirth and then Gradius III.... in Gradius Rebirth you can choose the checkpoint to begin... in Gradius III you have to be perfect to complete the game.

In super metroid, you have to master all techniques to reach mother brain in less than 3 hours to get only an image of samus without her suit...

The games are not the same, there's not insane games like in the past... that's a perfect reason why SNES is the BEST

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus THANK you. All I've heard about Megaman 9 is how hard it is. This shit is regular day in the office for those of us that grew up with it.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus I remember playing Mega Man 1 and struggling so hard. But eventually I beat it, and that was awesome. Felt like a real accomplishment. Games just don't give that feeling any more. Unless they have an epic story...which seems to be reserved for RPG's now-a-days.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus 9 was way harder than any of the previous Megamans in my opinion.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus PREACH!

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus You guys took seven whole days to beat Megaman games? God, you guys must have sucked back in the old days.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus I like Mega Man 9 better personally, but Mega Man 9 is no way NEAR as challenging as Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran difficulty. You have to eventually except the fact that modern games have taken over gaming. And as much as it pains me to say, great games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, or Star Fox 64 are dead. They will never be brought back. We are lucky, to have got the chance to enjoy such great games from the NES and up. But we can also enjoy modern games, too.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus Besides, Mega Man 9 is technically a modern game. It's made with modern game console processors, why do you think it's out on the Xbox 360 and the Wii? And why do you think the frame rate is so good? And Super Ghouls and Ghosts is just a pansy version of Ghosts 'n' Goblins, which I have beat before. It was actually fairly easy. The only thing that makes NES games hard is the lack of frame rate, that's the reason modern games are easier and more enjoyable.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus I think Megaman 9 his hard, but I like it. I think most Megaman games are hard the first time or two around, but then you can beat them easily.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus This is probably the most accurate statement of that fact. Apparently some people cant find the fun in these awesome games just because they spend too much time complaining about it.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus Damn right! I can't believe Capcom was forced to put an EASY MODE on Mega Man 10! WTF! Mega Man and easy? I know I shouldn't complain because if I don't want easy I can simply choose normal but... damn. Back then you beat the game. Now the game beats itself. But what I really hate is the emphasis on graphics. Don't get me started on that one because I will need 10 comments! I should end the rant here lol.

  • Galaxyman has a cool design and he is my 2nd favorite boss.

  • Limited Availability? This game is a downloadable one, and on all three consoles (The 360 and PS3 versions are ports from the Wii though)

  • Oh >_>

  • I love this song! Too bad the game is too hard to beat.

  • ur not playing enough

  • too hard to beat maybe

its not too hard to enjoy though. took me only two days to beat all the 8 bosses. the fortress was a bit tougher. I stopped playing by the time I got to the latest Yellow devil. Unlike every other one, he has no weakness...

  • COW-ORKER JIM

  • ???

  • What instruments do you think i would need to do a rock recreation of this song?

  • gtr, gtr synth, bass, drums, maybe keyboards. i was just thinking the same thing

  • don't hate me but i actually like this one more than wiley's stage from mega man 2

  • This music is strangely catchy. I guess it's because I grew up on it.

  • This part is when the kids start busting out glowsticks and pacifiers.

  • I can see people dancing to this! That is weird.

  • me too i guess we just like this music lol

  • just as good as the original music

  • 0:36, epic <3

  • Was there a sexual suggestive robot master in this one?

I still remember Hard Man from Megaman 3.

  • yes, it's Plug Man (let's not forget Flash Man, Wood Man and Junk Man)

  • I love this track. ^_^ chiptune ftw

  • did ya notice how megaman 4-7 had some really obscure elements?

Like, how was i supposed to know that Burgerman's power beats Cellphoneman?

  • The weird thing is that they completely avoided obvious ones throughout the entire series, like Water Man or Light Man (not Bright Man).

  • Excluding Megaman 1, of course.

  • LOL yeah...I was thinkin' Rain Man, but that would not be wise on Capcom's part for obvious reasons!

  • lol

  • I mean, pharaohman... cmon! What about Senateman? Or Emperorman?

  • this is my ringtone. :3

  • lol.

  • that music is awesome

  • Best song. Best stage (esiest though O_o). Awesomest looking boss. Mkay?

  • This beats tornadoman for 1st place in my book.

  • nice.

  • Lol with the slideshow it looks like an anime intro.

    Perfect match xD

    This game rocks.

  • dont mention anime...please...

  • the characters are drawin that style...its pretty much inyour face XD

  • anime is animation its just manga or japanese drawing style. And i really dont wanna see an animation series of these series. I have seen them when i was little and it sucked.

And not even that, but i think megaman should stay a videogame. And the japanese are not original anymore when it comes to anime.

    So there.

  • I never said it should be an anime, i said it looks like an anime intro with the music allong side it.

  • anime rules kid, and you know it.

  • nah, 80's/90's cartoons rule. Anime is more of the same shit over and over again. Some femine guy fighting some other femine looking guy. The main character gets his ass kicked, he gets support from his other gay friends. They lose, the main character gets angry and fights again.

He wins. Spread this out on 30 to 50 episodes.

Repeat for the next 500 episodes.

This does not count for Death Note.

  • "oh, I'm really gunna beat you good!"

"oh yea? I'm going to beat you with just 1% of my power"

    "oh yea!?"

    "yea!"

stay tuned for previews of next time...on draggggonnnballl z!!!

  • the planet namek is going to explode in 5 minutes in the dragon time line, if you cross that time with our time it takes about 40 hours.

    :P

  • Watch more. You're incredibly ignorant.

  • Galaxy man's stage is one of my favorites in this game. Plus his character design is a bit different from the usual robot master looks.

  • I liked Galaxy Man's stage because I could actually get past this one without dying...

And yeah, I thought he looked kind of stupid at first, but his look has grown onto me.

  • And he's goood in bed,oh yeah:)

  • wtf?!

  • I know cant figure it out either.

  • ...okay then...

  • Galaxy Man's stage is my favorite, and not just because of the music.

  • Best song in the game IMO.

  • The Black Hole Bomb looks kinda like Gravity Beetle's weapon from Mega Man X3...

  • I was thinking Magna Centipede from X2. (The ability you acquire from him, that is. And when charged.)

This stage reminds me of the first level from Metal Warriors on SNES. =)

  • Haven't seen the Black Hole Bomb in action yet, but what he shoots looks a lot like Gravity Beetle's weapon.

(I can't even remember Magna Centipede weapon, lol.)

  • Hm, one of the better ones thus far.

  • At first, I really didn't like this, but it has grown on me. I like this one.
