If you read Dave's book, he talks about how pissed he was right after Go to Hell was released because it was the first time he heard Enter Sandman. Not to mention, "Bill and Ted Go to Hell", which was what Dave wrote the song for, was renamed "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" and the song was bumped down from the main track, so he was pretty pissed already by the time he heard Enter Sandman.
