This video's SO well made, it's incredible!! The voices were added in all the right places, the scenes were cut and edited perfectly, and the storyline is very well thought out. Waiting patiently (Not really. On the edge of my seat here!) for part two!

Eeek I'm so sorry I forgot about this for a month. Ok having rewatched it I'm a little clearer on most things except the end. Where I was wondering if Jim had actually run off and left his brother or not? But I'm now guessing that part's MEANT to be ambigous what happened in the flashbacks at the end, with the soldier and anya? Was she their mum and she got killed, but if that's the case why is Hogarth younger at the beginning than he is in the flashback
- Wow I feel bad about forgetting to reply for so long! I rewatched and managed to resolve my confusion at one part.
- Basically it's the past that confuses me. Whilst Jim is thinking about leaving his brother and not going back he seems to be recalling his mother being killed while his brother was younger, but his brother is older there than he was in the "baby" bit at the beginning, where I was guessing they were supposed to have been abandonned. What happened to them?
there's one part in this video towards the end when he's like "Sometimes bad things happen and there's nothing you can do about it, so why worry?" I know that voice and its killing me trying to figure that out, I'm pretty sure thats not Jim who says that in the actual movie so who is it? Plz ease my troubling mind LOL!

Oh my word. Wow, that was increadible. Not only was the masking and the actual video making amazing, but the story line, the crossover, and the inserted lines were just awesome. It completely blew me away, and I got so emotional during it. I love the brotherly relationship between Hogarth and Jim. So amazing!

HOLY MOLEY!! I never would have known those clips/sounds came from different movies. The editing was perfect. I mean, COMPLETELY perfect. Major major MAJOR kudos for this. Wow, this was amazing! The best I've seen of these crossover videos. It takes a lot of skill to edit video (as well as audio) from various animation & make it look seamless, not to mention effectively telling a story. I have to give you a standing ovation. Great job.

i have watched Tarzan countless times and not once did i see the two bodies lying behind that plank of wood. i never knew what she (Kala) was looking at... i thought maybe she could see something but i didnt know what and then the feathers moved away and she seen the bloody footprints on the ground. god i never knew.... That's Dark!

I honestly have to say: before watching your vids (saved 3 or 4, I believe) I wasn't very much into the whole "Crossover" genre (vids, readings, etc.).
However, the video "Jim's Father Returns" and others that you have made have gotten me to think that, well, maybe this isn't so bad, after all [if done right].
I honestly cannot wait for the second part of this to be announced. Considering how much time you've taken on both, I'm sure it will be a smashing hit ;]

This was really good, it's looks like a real movie. I'm just wondering... when you first got Vegas was it difficult using chroma keyer and masking? I just got vegas on my computer so I'm a new beginner with masking and stuff.

Ah well, this looks beyond amazing and I love how you payd attention to details like the flashlight on Jim's face and the flashes of thunder. Very impressive, although I hope part 2 doesn't end with suicide, cuz most of these drama's do, so I'm curious (and very patient) for the next part.

WOW! Seriously, this is all I can say! My favourite EVER crossover was Peter Pan 3 by AppleDown, but now it's DEFINITELY this one!! I can't wait for part 2! :)
Very different from the usual story, much more grounded and real. The coloring is great, the entire world looks like it's stuck at dusk which is probably how Jim feels anyway. I really loved seeing the flash backs to them at various ages, kind of explaining what's been going on this whole time. Jim looks way more responsible here. Clearly, he needed a little brother in the film :P But my favorite part is the way you never question where someone is. The world is completely contained :)
I'm not going to pretend that I know anything about how you put everything together and masks or what not, but all I know is that I loved what I was seeing.

This is absolutely stunning. I'd argue to say that this is the best crossover that I've ever seen! The story is so clear and fluid, the reactions make sense, the characters have good chemistry, the use of other audio (like from Lion King) ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Its low enough that although it's not Jim's voice.. it's really really really easy to pretend so EXCELLENT choice of audio.
Ok, if you do any more crossovers this good, my head might just explode. You almost made me cry with this one! I'll be waiting VERY anxiously for part 2!
Just perfect ! ... except (I'm gonna be a little cheeky :p) the mask is a bit too "thick", some clips are the slightest tiny little bit too blurred ... BUT it's really not a big issue, all the rest is just awesome ! I can't wait to see the 2nd part !

that was amazing, the beginning was so sad, the entire video was so touching, it literally pulled at my heart strings. The storyline was so modern, more of a gritty present real-life feel to it, not the magical uplifting ones that lots of people make. This one had a full drawn out storyline that needed no summary to explain what was going on. Everything from the dialogue, to the facial expressions, to the color scheme were all perfect. You changed crossovers for me just now, Congratulations!

oh my word, that's extraordinary!!!! i love the music, the chosen lines, you did an incredible job, but you also made the storyline entirely believable, probably one of the hardest things to do in a crossover. Oh my word. Wow, that was increadible. Not only was the masking and the actual video making amazing, but the story line, the crossover, and the inserted lines were just awesome. It completely blew me away, and I got so emotional during it. I love the brotherly relationship between Hogarth and Jim. So amazing!

Wow. Thats really all I can say...this is just....OMG....Its so realistic looking! If someone had never seen any of those films it would be hard to see they are different movies! You combined them beautifully! Very impressive! I loved watching this.

HOLY MOLEY!! I never would have known those clips/sounds came from different movies. The editing was perfect. I mean, COMPLETELY perfect. Major major MAJOR kudos for this. Wow, this was amazing! The best I've seen of these crossover videos. It takes a lot of skill to edit video (as well as audio) from various animation & make it look seamless, not to mention effectively telling a story. I have to give you a standing ovation. Great job.

i like how you used Simba's voice for Jim, it suited him nicely. i tried to comment this yesterday but it didnt work like i thought i did. this is...wow no words can explain how heartwrenching this is. i cant wait for part 2. you said that you wanted change the genre in crossovers? well congrats you succeeded in my eyes. ive seen some amazing crossovers and i go "wow they cant get better than this one" but then i see this one...

i have watched Tarzan countless times and not once did i see the two bodies lying behind that plank of wood. i never knew what she (Kala) was looking at... i thought maybe she could see something but i didnt know what and then the feathers moved away and she seen the bloody footprints on the ground. god i never knew.... That's Dark!

I hope you are able to just sit back and marvel at your work. This mini film is so full of meaning and story. The flashlight/rooftop scene was such great editing on your part. This video is an absolute wonder.

I honestly have to say: before watching your vids (saved 3 or 4, I believe) I wasn't very much into the whole "Crossover" genre (vids, readings, etc.).
However, the video "Jim's Father Returns" and others that you have made have gotten me to think that, well, maybe this isn't so bad, after all [if done right].
I honestly cannot wait for the second part of this to be announced. Considering how much time you've taken on both, I'm sure it will be a smashing hit ;]

This was really good, it's looks like a real movie. I'm just wondering... when you first got Vegas was it difficult using chroma keyer and masking? I just got vegas on my computer so I'm a new beginner with masking and stuff.

lol I love your tags! you video is outstanding and I do think it will change the effort put into the vids. I'm so sick of little 30 second previews from everyone. You show with this that it's more rewarding to put a full vid ( I know this is only part 1) up then a half asses 'preview' that every one has become so found of. WOW! Ah well, this looks beyond amazing and I love how you payd attention to details like the flashlight on Jim's face and the flashes of thunder. Very impressive, although I hope part 2 doesn't end with suicide, cuz most of these drama's do, so I'm curious (and very patient) for the next part.

Very different from the usual story, much more grounded and real. The coloring is great, the entire world looks like it's stuck at dusk which is probably how Jim feels anyway. I really loved seeing the flash backs to them at various ages, kind of explaining what's been going on this whole time. Jim looks way more responsible here. Clearly, he needed a little brother in the film :P But my favorite part is the way you never question where someone is. The world is completely contained :)

This is absolutely stunning. I'd argue to say that this is the best crossover that I've ever seen! The story is so clear and fluid, the reactions make sense, the characters have good chemistry, the use of other audio (like from Lion King) ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Its low enough that although it's not Jim's voice.. it's really really really easy to pretend so EXCELLENT choice of audio.

Just perfect ! ... except (I'm gonna be a little cheeky :p) the mask is a bit too "thick", some clips are the slightest tiny little bit too blurred ... BUT it's really not a big issue, all the rest is just awesome ! I can't wait to see the 2nd part !

that was amazing, the beginning was so sad, the entire video was so touching, it literally pulled at my heart strings. The storyline was so modern, more of a gritty present real-life feel to it, not the magical uplifting ones that lots of people make. This one had a full drawn out storyline that needed no summary to explain what was going on. Everything from the dialogue, to the facial expressions, to the color scheme were all perfect. You changed crossovers for me just now, Congratulations!
