The Word was God, the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. You mean to tell me that Jesus was God in the flesh? Now I understand why Jesus said baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and the disciples baptized in the name of Jesus. He IS the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. It makes sense now, it isn't a contradiction.
