If those are your real nails.. they are beautiful. My nails are really crappy, so I get them done. They use rubbing alcohol(either that or pure acetone) and a brush to shape the white after paining it on, so the tip had more of a curve instead of a straight line.

Take some tape and tape the tip and the rest of the nail apart, then you can just paint the tip white, wait till it dries and then you have a straight line ;)

WOW I usually go out and do them. The people at the salon usually uses a separate brush, then dip it in acetone and then sort of clean the curve and that's how the make the perfect tip.

i would recommend you the emery board, which is made from paper (or a cartong, i don't know how do you call it) not metal, it is much "friendly" to your nails :)

actually, you can pick up the rhinestones by dippind the sharp end of the cuticle stick into water and just slightly tough the top of the stone--and you'll find it a lot easier to put them on :)

i'm not sure if you know this already, but there is something you can do to achieve smooth straight smile lines. you can buy a round tip brush at michaels and pure acetone at sally beauty supply. with the brush you would dip it into the acetone and then use it to shape the white nail polish to clean up the smile lines.

hey, heres a good tip 4 useing the rhinestones with the orangewood stick. get the tip of it wet with water or spit and make sure where u are appyling them, the nail is a little sticky so it stays on better and easier to apply!

one trick for the white smile line, is to take a angled paint brush, dab it in polish remover & wipe away excess white polish on the nail bed. Also, I recommend putting a light pink on top of the white before your final top coat. It helps blend the white with the natural color of the nail bed. Best pink is OPI 'Passion'
