  • Nice car but were can I find parts for mine lol

  • @BeNnHeNrY408 Wreckers is your best bet mate, but join The Australian Magna Club forums if you haven't already, there's always good stuff popping up for sale on there.

  • gayest car ever

  • Got a TJ series execuctive 03 model manual of course :) front wheel drive might not be as fun but the 3.5L hauls arse puts a smile on my face everyday especially when p plater pretenders in there commos n falcons try give u a run blow most of them off or at least give them a good run for their money mines sky Blue got a VIP bodykit $900 full 2.5 exaust from Hannam at mufflers for $600 straight through sports muffler 3" dump pipe 100 cell high glow cat and sports resonator sounds nice good deep

  • Nice plate bro! Sounds sweet as, my camry sounds kinda similar, but i just got a hotdog chucked in it cause it rasped like a mofo. :P

  • sounds allright, i chucked 3 washers inbetween my muffler and exaust and it sounds as good but (same car)

  • sorry to bother u again i have joined the forums put im not sure how to add friends etc... im still waiting for approval as well so atm i cant comment on anything, btw i payed a visit to the guy at exhaust dynamics, im gonna get a cat back done with a high flo cat converter he said it wil give a very nice note and wil try and achieve the deepest possible not. Do u go to these AMC meetings, sorry to bother u again mate cheers

  • @tomahawkasaurus123

no worries mate, if you haven't been approved yet tell me your username and i'll PM someone to approve you. Nice work on the exhaust, and yea I do go out to the meets and events my username on AMC is Annese

  • HAHAHA fucking epic plate u got on it =D

  • yea fair enough mate... but saying that would it be worth putting pacemaker extractors on and keeping the stock cat-back... how would that sound?

  • yea i love my car... its got plenty of grunttt... so u dont think its nessecary to do a cat back exhuast setup.

  • @tomahawkasaurus123 nah mate, unless you've got plans to do the whole exhaust it's not worth it. The only reason I did it from the cat back on this car is because the stock pipe was rusting through...

  • 2 grand.. try 1... shitty 15 inch rims.. u dont have a body kit.. and ur exhuast is only a muffler and cat convertor.

  • yea i know i can talk...rims...2 grand sound system...extractors...nearly cat back and body kit haaa

  • u can talk with ur 89 prelude mate

  • hahaha fagnaaa...get a commy mate and pull in the bitty haaa

  • tune

  • hey mate...

i have recently purchased a 2000 mitsubishi TJ sports magna, and im in year 12 atm and go to sacred heart college, right around the corner from exhuast dynamics, where u got urs done from im very interested in a cat back... is this one of the best systems out there for the money.. as im a school student i dont want to spend alot of money... ur opionin would be greater apprecitated.. cheers for ya time mate.

  • @tomahawkasaurus123 hey mate I also went to SHC, finished in 07 and live around the corner lol

If you've got a sports already, you've already got the lukey muffler from stock so you wont feel much gain from getting a cat back system done as the muffler is the most restricitive part of the exhaust in the base model magnas. The exhaust is what gives the 8kw difference between the TJ onwards base models and sports/VR-Xs.... I now own a Manual TJ VR-X which has a much nicer sounding exhaust...

  • have you been on the Aussie Magna Club site mate? Join the forums there's all the info you'll need on there if you sift through the bullshit, my username on there's Annese

  • So about $410 to get that sound? Does the car have extractors? Im looking at either getting a VS Commodore or a Magna/Verada and wondering how much to get that kinda sound out of it. Which car do u reckon would sound better??

  • I'm generally not a fan of the V6 in the VS commos with an exhaust, just not a nice sounding engine. If you want value for money and the faster option then go for a manual Magna, they'll thrash a V6 commo any day, just be prepared to cop shit from bogans that think the commo is the best car on earth lol and tbh if you know how to drive it properly, fwd doesn't bother me at all, handles well and probably kept me out of a fair bit of trouble...

  • I could not possibly agree with you more. Commodores all sound the same to me...Magnas even my 380 will give most commos a run for their money. FWD is what you make of it, once you adjust your driving style its easy to drive just as fast with just as much enthusiasm!

  • mate sounds OK for a magna but not nearly as nice as some commodores.

  • oh and nah don't have extractors yet, the factory Magna ones are a pretty good design so haven't needed them yet but once I start some decent engine work i'll be doin extractors as well as a hi-flow cat

  • Get an I6 Falcon!

  • @dreadly101 was driving a manual EF XR6 for a couple months before I got this magna, give me the magna any day!

  • mind letting me know where i can find and install the exhaust parts? im looking for a place to get that done to my Commodore VS. I live in south-east qld, but id liek to know what places do this work

  • I'm in SA but any exhaust place should be able to do it mate, worth ringing around to get a few quotes and maybe checkin some forums or something to see check a few reviews etc. With a commo you'd probably be able to find a bolt on system you could install yourself too...

  • where did you get the exhaust and everythign from?

  • i'm in Adelaide so got it done at Exhaust Dynamics in Somerton Park, cost me $410 for the 2.5" catback piping with a redback muffler and the tip welded on and bumper cutout, this was before I fitted the bodykit though

  • Sweet sounding magna mate!!

  • so its just a strait pipe from cat to muffler? nor esonators man?

  • not entirely sure mate haven't really taken notice, ill have a look next time im under there but i think there may be 1 resonator between the cat and the rear muffler

  • Very nice dude

  • how much did that all cost????

  • the exhaust was $350 for the muffler and piping from the cat back and $60 for the tip so $410 all up

  • those wheels like there from a g8/commador

  • yea they're ROH Mantis rims, made by the same people and I think they're very similar
