Have you walked down the street and wondered why they would use chicken shit to cook with? For a long time when I smelled that very awful smell that is what I thought they were doing. Until one day I smelled that evil smell and looked over and saw them cooking chicken shit and people were buying and eating it. Smelly in that people make food all over the streets and people smoke everywhere; (at least the MALE chinese do for some reason), and as well the factories and general pollution. It's dirty, loud, way overpopulated, rude people (except in Chongqing and HongKong, they are nice there), horrid drivers that honk thier horns CONSTANTLY.
The best place in China is HongKong imo. It's very much like Japan.

They need laws to make it illegal to smoke in public like in allot of countries (and even in Hong Kong), because it is highly annoying to breathe that shit in all over the place. I heard the government was going to enact that in 2011, but I doubt it will happen.

@Inyaa Right, it doesn't work, at least not quickly enough. Not ALL the men smoke, the smarter ones don't, the non "dumb locals" as I came to call them. It's hard to believe but yes, the government was talking about enacting non smoking laws in China. They have it in HongKong, you can't really smoke anywhere. Ever been to Canada? it's beautiful, it's that way there.
The trash on the street is again due to uneducated people. Thankfully the street cleaners come by every morning in most cities.

China is so far behind in so many things, from clothing style to smoking laws, to traffic laws....etc etc. But that's what it is I guess, it's a developing 3rd world country. If you do ever go to mainland China, expect to see some really fucked up shit to say the least. All you can do is chock it up and say "Well, it's China".

@Inyaa Yeah it's a lack of enforcment by traffic police. When I say "China is fucked" I don't mean the people, I guess I mean the government, and people are products of thier enviroment. The driver training is actually by international standards, yet when they hit the streets, it all goes out the window due to lack of enforcement. I've driven allot in China, and the only way to drive is as if you are in a video game. Yet in some places like Hong Kong and Guangzhou, they drive without horns.

Have you walked down the street and wondered why they would use chicken shit to cook with? For a long time when I smelled that very awful smell that is what I thought they were doing. Until one day I smelled that evil smell and looked over and saw them cooking chicken shit and people were buying and eating it. It looks like fudge brownies but they deep fry it, hense the evil smell. It I don't get away from the smell quickly, I will throw up.
