This is all happening because the so-called "ranchers" want more land for their cattle. STOP EATING CATTLE. That will stop the breeding of these animals and the horses will have land to live free on. It's one of the best books ever written on the demise of our mustang herds. The action takes place in 1939 Montana (historical fiction), on Pryor Mountain. This is almost like herding our Native American Indians to "new living locations". I only ran across this after checking out info on Zenyatta and other horses. It is so sad and cruel to subject these wild horses to anything like this. It brings tears to my eyes and hurt that our government is behind this. I am deeply sorry

I can see how it would be so much better to leave thosands of horses on the range and let them over populate to the point where they all starve. Talk about cruelty! Some of the horses get rounded up so others can stay on the range. The horses are not slaugherted by the BLM, they are put up for adoption at adoption events. There are police agencies that also take then as working horses. This video is misleading!

I feel the need to also state that the work of Velma B. Johnston (AKA Wild Horse Annie) will be completely for naught if these horses are allowed to die in such a manner. The Wild Free-Roaming Horse and Burro Act of 1971 was put into place FOR A REASON! We are NOT afraid to start an uprising larger than anything Wild Horse Annie accomplished to save these horses!!

Were you there to see a second horse Mtklaric? Who gave you that information - or more correctly, who lied to you? A Judas horse was released by the capture crew to lure Freedom and his family into the pens as the helicopter bore down on them. That was Freedom that jumped that fence. Make no mistake...don't let a Judas tell you otherwise.

the jump is fake, the captured horse just hits the fence, he remains inside, and another horse is released as if the first horse jumped the fence, slow the video, you will see two horses....
