  • Can women do this

  • Haha I was one of the lucky ones to get infantry slot at orange shipping out to basic Jan 17th hooah

  • You don't need names, you just need to be kept up to date with the recruiting website so when you get a call from a potential recruit about joining as an Infantryman, you don't give them false information.

  • According the the U.S army national Gurad recruiting webiste. There are currently 22 open slots for 11 series in the state of California. of those 22 open slots, 8 are in the Southern California area including San Pedro, Orange, Riverside, Corona, Colton, Glendale, Fullerton, and Inglewood. These slots were posted on 3rd, January 2012!

  • A buddy of mine says there's "grunt" slots in Orange county. Just make sure this is waht you want. 14 weeks at sand hill is no joke, and is not like POG basic at all. Don't expect to graduate and your unit sending you off to air assautl school or airborne. Unless you score a perfect 300 or higher your not going to be doing any Hooah" schools. That and it's just to expensive for units to send there soldiers. Like I siad unless you stand out remarkbly.

  • @DannyBoy52785 That's incorrect, there are no "grunt" slots in OC. Im the OC recruiter and the only infantry unit is the 160th. I work out of the 160th's armory and am literally 2 doors down from the readiness NCO who I work with on a daily basis. Who is your buddy and how do I contact him? I'd like to ask him about these slots he's talking about.

  • join 11b where you will practice ready up drills, glass houses, how to call up a 9 line and most importantly room and gear inspections.

  • This is what I want to do does anyone know what score I have to get on the asvab to qualify for this?

  • @playstation406 Right now in the Army National Guard, all applicants must score 50 or higher to enlist. There are no waivers for under 50. Also, 11B's are almost closed. 31B Military Police for Actice Duty Army is done until fiscal year end, October (Confirmed). 88M,25U, 31D, 92G, 92W, 31B, 12N, 21B. These MOS's are your best bet for the National Guard right now. 88M's are almost closed as well. No more bonuses, GED's, misdemeanors, waivers etc. You can have about 4-5 traffic tix,& no more!

  • @iguardcalifornia I already took the asvab and physical. I got a 35 on the asvab and passed my physical but my recruiter told me I was not able to join because I graduated from a tier 2 school and the national guard is only accepting tier 1 right now. The only way I can join is with 15 college credits or I can wait for tier 2 to open. But my recruiter told me its probably going to be till the end of the year is it true? Will 11B`s still be open? Thanks

  • @playstation406 That's true. Right now the Guard is only accepting tier 1 HS's. The Guard is no loner enlisting, 11B's, at least not in California. Things should loosen up a bit by end of fiscal year Oct 1. That might be your best time. Good luck!

  • @iguardcalifornia Ok so there is a chance I might be able to join in October I have never got any traffic tickets or been in trouble with police. But I am still going to go to college to get 15 credits in case they dont accept tier 2 if they do I will just get out of college and join the national guard. I cant wait to join the California Army National Guard. Anyways thanks for the information and videos they help out a lot.

  • @iguardcalifornia I'm joining after my 2 years of college, Will I get credit for those years and a degree

  • @iguardcalifornia so is this just for infantrymen or for all army national guard recruits about passing with a 50 on the asvab or did it change for everyone because i wanted to start doing my process after i lose the last 17 pounds i need to cut weight so seargent brito wat is your best advice and if you could enlighten this day with some of your knowledge id be greatful thanks

  • @da9rider No, this is for all new applicants. You must score a 50 to enter at this time. At this point 11B/Infantry is closed.

  • @iguardcalifornia ok well thanks i guess ill have to step it up at test time. and that is horrible 11b infantry has closed so October is when every thing should be a back after fiscal year ends?

  • @iguardcalifornia im lucky because 8 spots opened in the state of illinois for infantry and i got one of them. my recruiter told me i think it was ohio of iowa was accepting one recruit per month for infantry. thats the whole state. i would have him check the closest units to you to see if any are under 125%

  • @iguardcalifornia If 11B Infantry is Closed at this time, Then How did My Recruiter Get me Onto the List of 11B Infantry and Headin to Basic in Ft. Benning, Georgia in September?
