actually, everything i have said about my experiences has been 100% true. of course, there may not be a way for me to prove it to you, and i have no desire to anyway, so believe what you want.

@ch7849055 well this war is like vietnam, we rarely ever see the enemy except in like urban combat, like building to building stuff. but in the open terrain and mountains you rarely see the enemy, u just fire in the general direction you hear them shooting from and hope ur bullet hits someone. alot of the time we do a good job of hitting them :P

You correct, on occasions bullets go both ways & I have been watch videos of battles on PressTV & the Afghans are truly fearless

There is video of a fort being attacked by the Taliban & they really did kick the shit out of the US forces. A US soldiers falls out of the fort and down a hill. He gets up an runs & a Taliban with his rifle slung behind him & holding a hand guns chases the Yank. The Yank finds cover & assumes a fetal position. The Afghan shots the soldier...O_o..

@joshkkv I feel sorry for that us soldier because he did not deserve what happened to him & I think most of what is happening in Afghanistan is hidden. Atrocities are happening & the Afghans are fighting tooth & nail against the invader

That young us soldier is someone's son and he was stupid enough to enlist in an army that fights in the interests of the military industrial complex and Israel

Had that US soldier defended himself, he would have killed an Afghan who was defending his country

Without aircraft support, US soldiers don't stand a chance simply because the average Afghan is braver, more resourceful and defending his country from a civilian murdering invader.

On one occasion, Taliban fighters came in and murdered an elder, his wife, and his children because he spoke to Americans in his village the day before. Another time, the Taliban set off an IED in the middle of a bazaar - the only one hurt was a 7 year old girl who lost her arms. We had one school that locals built and the Taliban burned it down SEVEN times. I am no exaggerating.

@BoycottIsrahell Afghans are brave and strong. They are the ones fighting against the theocratic totalitarians known as the Taliban, a majority of whom are "invading" Afghanistan from Pakistan. The real Afghans that care and fight for their country are in the ANA, the ANP, and the ones keeping the Taliban out of their villages. At least, that's from my own personal experience while I was in Afghanistan 4 months ago.

As in, every village we went through, dozens of kids came out to hug us and try to get pictures of us. the elders brought out tea, bread, and candy and just wanted to converse with us. and this was in the heart of the insurgency. there were some corruption problems in the ANP, and the ANA were well-liked, but the Taliban were mocked and ridiculed. nobody likes having armed foreigners in their country, but they were glad we fought the Talib

@BoycottIsrahell and before you go around possibly accusing me personally of being a murderer, take three seconds to go on google, and type in "taliban" and "executes." the most recent stories/videos/pictures are of taliban fighters executing a 7 year old boy for "being a spy," a 14-year old girl for eloping, a pregnant woman, a couple for alleged adultery, etc. they snuck into villages where i was and murdered people at night. so open YOUR eyes for a second and try to see what's going on.

I would love to see this video. Where did you see it? Because I've searched and haven't found anything. In fact, the absolute worst FOB attack the U.S. suffered was an attack by more than 100 Taliban fighters, resulting in 9 U.S. dead, in Wanat. That is the single highest casualty count that the U.S. has suffered in all of Afghanistan, since 2001.

@bezzel629 - Oh yes there was gorilla warfare in WW2. The difference is that the Military dealt with it in a manner consistence with the objective of winning the war. Nowadays we are too busy playing "political correctness" ... and that includes things like women in combat, fags in the military, etc.

@MaryWaterton Its a different type of warfare dumbass. WWII was open warfare between countries. One of the reason why it takes longer is because we are not fighting countries; we are fighting small insurgencies. These groups can blend in with civilians, making it extremely hard to tell who is your enemy (just like Vietnam). The ROE are not the same. Now, instead of insulting the military (who, btw, protects ur ass) which you know nothing about, go suck a dick.
