This is one reason I oppose gay marriage. Two coworkers could pretend to be gay and get married in order to claim pension rights. It was a good movie though. It was definitely hilarious.
@imsgoalie1 I was referring to straight coworkers. That's fraud; claiming to be a married gay couple in order to be covered under each other's life insurance plans.
@davidspade200 Right, my point is that a guy and girl could commit the same kind of fraud by faking a traditional marriage, and people would be less suspicious of them as straight people. So should we outlaw traditional marriage also, or maybe outlaw benefits for people's spouses, same sex or otherwise?

It's not likely that two opposite-gender friends would pull-off a scheme like this. And even if they did and were later caught, there's still a chance that they could fall for each other for real.
