This is most impressive, but at times it's a little dirty but with 11 snare drummers it is very hard to play clean. I've never heard this many snare drummers play as clean as they did.

This does kick ASS!!!! Makes me want to go to Switzerland and try out to be part of them either on bass or snare, but I'm 41 years old now, probably wouldn't be able to hang.

not to say this isn't excellent, but this kind of stuff is pretty much standard for any DCI world class drum corps, and most Division II and III corps. Still, I really liked it. It was well rehearsed and the visual aspect makes up for the cleanliness.

I am not versed in drum corps, aside from what I've seen on YouTube, but I thought this performance rather novel, unique and unconventional, as well as very entertaining. Is this really standard fair? My stepfather is in a pipe band and I have never seen them do anything like this...

I think its a bit difficult to tell at times, especially towards the end, but I think this is a different performance than the other one you posted. Watch them together...there are newer bits in the other version with the commentary, especially a bit about a minute or so in when they all shout "bbbrrrraaapp!" These guys are great

just some guys who founded this drum corps in their spare time. drumming is widely spread around in basel because of the fasnacht (carneval) and so you'll find thousands of people with high drumming skills here.

as far as I know they still do it as "amateurs" and follow their jobs / educations
