its slightly different with the old type-R's though, they were for racing homologation and honda were owed money by every one they made. You could say the vti is to the esi civic what the mg is to rover.

it was only a track day, it was also a road car on road tyres and with an extra silencer to help with the noise,

I was there for the day to have a bit of fun and take some folk for a ride around, Not a race meeting, we have another car for that, which btw could not be beaten by a Btcc Mg ZR. on more than one occassion last season.

look mate i have a decent car i have a focus rs. im just sayin dont try to big up a car that was made by a company that doesnt really exist any more, the stupid idiots couldnt even afford to redesign the rover 45 they just stuck an mg badge on it and charged a fortune for it. all rovers are pap they always will be. rover cant afford to design new cars so what makes you think that they made a quality mg. once rubbish always rubbish. why not go and buy yourself an mg maestro and be happy with it.

Ok,r45 and mgzs share body panels,some interior trim parts,not much else.Zs has different suspension,brakes,engine,quick­er rack,stiffer chassis,sports ratio box etc ,all the things manufacturers change when turning a family car into a gti.Just like honda when they turned the civic into the type r.How was the civic re designed to evolve into the type r ?,look just like any other civic to me.So is the type r just a civic ...no!,just like the mg is not just a rover,or the rs is not just a focus.

none, the kv6 in the zs 180 doesnt suffer with h.g failure, its the 1.8 k16 engine that can sometimes fail in this way.
