Kumar Sangakkara, Rahul Dravid, Steve Waugh..........No one plays classic text book cover drives better then these three.......never a big fan of vaughan, but I must confess that was a pretty good un....
5th Test at the SCG, great player, Great captain, just a shame he was the kind of captain where the responsibility hindered his performance (as opposed to Stauss where it has improved his game immensly but there will only ever be 1 Michael Vaughan)
no he shoudn't he has dropped his form over a period of time and lost his effectiveness and also time scale at the crease althought stil one of the great players I say
Have you Actually ever seen Don Bradman play cricket, most people havent even seen him bat
Don Bradman, used to play in a time, where test cricket could go on for weeks, and batsmen can score however many runs they want, with no time pressure
Then the fastest bowler he ever probaly faced is 80 MPH. And dont even talk about spin bowling in those days, i am probaly a better spin bowler than most of them in Bradmans era
Compare Sachins shots and technique, to Bradman, thn u kno who is better
SAKaKa09, that must be the most stupid thing I have ever heard....
Sachin is a great batsman, but he is nothing like bradman..
Bradman played in a time where they did not have helmets, guards all around their body. They did not play on dead batting wickets, they had to play on wet wickets, grassy wickets, rough wickets...Modern batsmen will hide in fear, let alone score runs if they were in Bradmans place...
@ChrisRead7 haha true but we do not leave the ground coz we think all hope is lost, more like we came just to see sachin bat rather than the match...not selfish really. Arrogant? maybe..

I could watch this clip for ever - the shot, the sound, the pose, the roar of the crowd, all perfect.

he had the best cover drive in the game!
Ocean1788 2 years ago
whilst an incredibly flawed batsman he has to go down as one of the most graceful, elegant and beautiful to watch batsman the game has ever seen.

Yeah he's never been the same batsman since his knee injury.

One of the best cover drives i have ever seen.
However Vaughan should never be compared with sachin, as he is nowhere near as good as him, you cant compare vaughan to the best there is.
Sachin can pull out ever shot in teh book, and plays them the best as well. Thats why he is regarded as the most complete batsmen ever in cricket
12kaka09 2 years ago 2
sir donald bradman my freind was the most complete batman in cricket and could score over 300 runs in a day, but sachine still is a genius

the longest test match ever was something like 8-9 days,
if u do manage to compare there technqiues u will see how the games technique has changed over the years,
don bradman had the best - eye to hand ever.

Larwood and company... only 80 mph... I think you're mistaken!
