  • Kumar Sangakkara, Rahul Dravid, Steve Waugh..........No one plays classic text book cover drives better then these three.......never a big fan of vaughan, but I must confess that was a pretty good un....

  • that was perfect.

  • orgasmic

  • as u say in pakistan ohhh shotting yaara

  • I could watch this on an endless loop.

  • Could bash one out to that!

  • Ohhhh that is orgasmic. What a beautiful shot: the balance, the placement, the follow-through: just glorious.

  • a timeless shot

  • There's something about watching that shot that makes it look unreal. Great shot.

  • that actually was like the best shot ever

  • i wish there was a replay

  • he beat sachin in this mastr strok vaughan great

  • Beautiful stroke. Pity Vaughan couldn't keep this sort of form through his whole career.

  • awesome

  • crisp

  • perfect

  • 5th Test at the SCG, great player, Great captain, just a shame he was the kind of captain where the responsibility hindered his performance (as opposed to Stauss where it has improved his game immensly but there will only ever be 1 Michael Vaughan)

All those fast scored high centuries.

  • Incredible shot.

  • If you like that, u should really take a look at Mahela Jayewardene!

  • I could watch this clip for ever - the shot, the sound, the pose, the roar of the crowd, all perfect.

  • he had the best cover drive in the game!

  • whilst an incredibly flawed batsman he has to go down as one of the most graceful, elegant and beautiful to watch batsman the game has ever seen.

  • Thanks for all the good times Vaughnie. You are a genius

  • thats one gogeus shot should still be playing tbh

  • no he shoudn't he has dropped his form over a period of time and lost his effectiveness and also time scale at the crease althought stil one of the great players I say

  • Yeah he's never been the same batsman since his knee injury.

  • One of the best cover drives i have ever seen.

However Vaughan should never be compared with sachin, as he is nowhere near as good as him, you cant compare vaughan to the best there is.

Sachin can pull out ever shot in teh book, and plays them the best as well. Thats why he is regarded as the most complete batsmen ever in cricket

  • sir donald bradman my freind was the most complete batman in cricket and could score over 300 runs in a day, but sachine still is a genius

  • Have you Actually ever seen Don Bradman play cricket, most people havent even seen him bat

Don Bradman, used to play in a time, where test cricket could go on for weeks, and batsmen can score however many runs they want, with no time pressure

Then the fastest bowler he ever probaly faced is 80 MPH. And dont even talk about spin bowling in those days, i am probaly a better spin bowler than most of them in Bradmans era

Compare Sachins shots and technique, to Bradman, thn u kno who is better

  • the longest test match ever was something like 8-9 days,

if u do manage to compare there technqiues u will see how the games technique has changed over the years,

don bradman had the best - eye to hand ever.

  • Larwood and company... only 80 mph... I think you're mistaken!

  • SAKaKa09, that must be the most stupid thing I have ever heard....

Sachin is a great batsman, but he is nothing like bradman..

Bradman played in a time where they did not have helmets, guards all around their body. They did not play on dead batting wickets, they had to play on wet wickets, grassy wickets, rough wickets...Modern batsmen will hide in fear, let alone score runs if they were in Bradmans place...

  • chrisread4 please don't compare sachin with vaughan.. vaughan is good but is not yet at sachin's level...

  • beutifulllll!!!!!

  • uuuuuuuuuuh yeah.

  • well actually if u see sachin hit the smae shot...or laxman hit the smae shot ull see a world of differnece n they wil be a lil betta than vaughan

  • laxman!!! lol don't make me laugh!!!

why is it Indians complain that the aussies are arrogant yet all they go on about is tendulkar?

how many english fans just get up and leave the ground when vaughan is out? then u look at the selfish indians....

    ps its 'same' not smae

  • kudos to you, very true and fair point

  • @ChrisRead7 oh well true indian fans were still there in the stadium!!!!!!!!! stop comparing somebody with someone.....just enjoy the video

  • @ChrisRead7 haha true but we do not leave the ground coz we think all hope is lost, more like we came just to see sachin bat rather than the match...not selfish really. Arrogant? maybe..

  • A world of difference? People like you are so annoying, just STFU and enjoy the shot.

  • idiot u can not get any better than that. its simply his best shot and hes the best exponent of it.

  • yh. i thought i'd do him a favour. his a forehead that big he must get so many spams and must feel sad. that shot will cheer him up.

  • i loved his stroke play but his skills went down the drain too early...!!

  • ynnad!
