drawing with mouse is possible but its much harder then with a pen, i think i would prefer pen ^-^

I need to get me a tablet!!! I draw on Paint Tool Sai and people have told me drawing on a tablet is way more smoother, I usuallly draw better on paper, then I kinda use it on Paint Tool Sai.. but I need this!!! I'm putting it on wish list xD

this is my first time using a wacom, so it was a new experience to another way of drawing. I say the first time when i tried to draw was really hard to get use to, the waxom tablet itself is small and I had trouble with drawing my picture i have to tilt my hand most of the times. I cant draw normally like how i draw on a piece of paper, but i always want to draw graphic arts so bad. so how do you got so professionalize to this product I want to know because I don't want to give up on it !? :(

Isn't it hard to use a tablet since when you draw, it comes up on the moniter insetad of the tablet itself? or do you get used to it and it's just as easy as pencil and paper?

I have question, so once you have the Wacom supplies ( pen and tablet etc...) you install wacom in ur comp, Does the wacom have the drawing program or it is just the paint program??

im 14 and using manga studio and im pretty good with a mouse. but being this age and relying on your parents to use their money to buy a decent tablet isnt easy...

@TohruNoOnigiri At first everyone needs some practice, but the bamboo comes with some free test programs you can use to get to know your bamboo better :)

I haven't had much problems with my bamboo yet ;D

@aceslayer51 The Bamboo Fun is just for light sketching, it's not really made for detailed manga. If you want to be serious about drawing manga, save up your money and buy a Intuos 4! A lot of manga/anime artist use that to come up with ideas!

Why would you use a mouse? It takes...twice, sometimes even three times longer. The Sketch pad is the best invention next to sliced bread!! I have yet to get one, but have seen many vids. Needless to say, I'm saving up my money. Kudos to the Pad of justice! :D

well it's too early to tell but I haven't experienced any lag even after using it for 2 hours straight just to mess around with. as far as browsing goes though yeah you'll get a bit of lag when you use gestures in Windows...but who uses a tablet for browsing anyway :P

Of course but I would not choose to do so by any means. I used a mouse for years and the transition to a tablet was wonderful. I would not go back to using a mouse, I value my time and can get a lot more completed with a tablet.

Oh for sure but I prefer to get things done efficiently. I know it can be done, I never said it couldn't. It just takes a lot longer, so I do not see the benefit in using a mouse over a tablet. Especially when working on multiple projects and you have a deadline at work.

though you can use a mouse, a tablet allows you to draw like you normally would on paper. it all depends on personal preference. Though i am able to successfully use my mouse, i really want a tablet.

@eRazer101 drawing with a mouse and drawing by hand are two different things..drawing by hand even if it with the tablet shows that u have skill and stable understanding of art and drawing style..drawin with a mouse means that you can move the cursor arround the right way..nothing more..
