All i heard from news from the EMT stating that they told other workers in that eatery to call for help and then i heard that they left her to die without calling for help.

I herd on the news the day it happened that she had a seizure, and the two EMT's walked out while the cashier was asking them to help! But they did call 911 for her, it took 30 min for the EMT response team to get to her! If this is all true I think the 2 emt's that left her there should lose there jobs! Sure they might not of had equipment to completely assist her, they know how to deal with people that are hurt,dieing ect!

They are legally required to help. Even if they are off duty, by law they are required and the city should make an example out of them.

Some EMTs can become so desensitized but that is no excuse.

But at the same time, is not require by the NYS law that an EMT off duty, if not in uniform or any form of identification, that they need to assist.
