  • I hate country music, and i hated Joplin MO so much that I left, but I lived there for most of my life and I can't help but to be moved by this. My heart goes out to all my loved ones and everyone else in Joplin.

  • I am a surviver of the Tornado. I saw it hit St. Johns. I was coming strait at us. My Husband saved me. I was a dear in the headlights. we came out of hiding after the 2nd. siron. We thought it was over. We were wrong. I am in a womens shelter and my Husband is in the streets of Springfield Mo. Thanks FEMA.

  • My mom and dad were from Joplin, and though I was born in Ohio, JoMo is as much a home to me as anywhere. I visited family every summer as a child, went to Missouri Southern as an undergraduate, and every person on this planet that I am related to - except my son - lives in the 64801. I went back twice this summer to help dig the city out, and even now, five months later, this song brings the overpowering and gut-wrenching memories I have.

God Bless Joplin - your sons and daughters love you!

  • I went to Joplin twice to help clean up. The people I met there were great. So many of them had lost everything, but were worried to take stuff in case someone else needed it more. This is out of the news, but it's not cleaned up yet. Remind people of this disaster. You know the saying, Gone but not forgotten? Well switch that. Joplin's problem is, Forgotten but not gone.

  • I live in Reading Ks and sitting here watching this even 3 months after a tornado tore our tiny town apart is still enough to make my cry for all my neighbors who lost their homes. Over half of the homes in our tiny town were destroyed. So happy to see our town starting to recover. Seeing these photos. reminds me alot of what it was like around here as. Well God bless Joplin and Reading.

  • LOVE this song.

  • im in joplin also. i go to joplin highschool that is now rubbel. i think to myself how i would've spent my last day there knowing it would be gone two days later.these are our friends, our memories. this song is amazing. i dont cry about it cuz i still feel like its one big dream. im going to wake up tomorrow and go to my school, and have everything back to normal. we are Joplin strong, we'll get throu this and we'll be ok. GOD BLESS JOPLIN

  • Does anyone know who the girl in the red shirt is..The one who is sitting on the tailgate of the truck with the 4 people? if u do..Please tell Me

  • If you are from Joplin like me or you can even relate to this song pass it along. The people in this town need our help!!!!

  • It took a disaster like Joplin for me to discover this great band. I understand they are from my own home state of Missouri. I feel sort of dumb for not finding them sooner.

God Bless 'em for this great song that says so much. Please purchase this song at iTunes and the proceeds go to help Joplin out.

  • Loved it -- bought the song When can we buy the video?

  • This song is amazingly good; first rate. I am from Carthage, MO, but I have been living in Edmond, OK for the past few years. Apparently, from this video, I am definitely missing out on an outstanding band. I am definitely going to be checking their schedule for dates near OKC. Love their sound, but mostly I love the heart in this song.

  • My heartfelt thanks to everyone who is helping Joplin get back on her feet.

  • Just back from a week if volunteering in my home town. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel toward all of the volunteers, nor the pride I have felt in seeing the resilience of the native born there in JoMo. As gutwrenching as these photos are, they pale in comparison to seeing the devastation with your owneyes

  • I knew I adored Mark Chapman before, and now more then ever! Thank you so much for all your continued support. It continues to be hard, and there are still many sleepless nights personally, and fortunately all of my friends and loved ones came out alive...

Chris, Sara, Eric, Tina... We will all be here for you always! We love you and... GOD BLESS JOPLIN!

  • I lost my aunt in this devastating tornado and had several close friends who lost everything. I was told about this video because the young man wearing the blue bandana at the end of the video is like a son to me and that's what's left of his parents home that he's standing in. Joplin is an incredible community and we will come back from this stronger than ever! I love my hometown and I'm proud @ how we've all come together to help each other. Thank you to all the volunteers as well!

  • Who the heck would be heartless enough to dislike this song?!

  • I want to Adopt a family, at least a child within a family, before the Holidays start ;)

  • JOHN AND DEBBIES HOUSE...picture number 3...WE LOVE YOU...OUR KINDERED ADOPTED FAMILY!!!! Love Michelle, Gianfranco, Britt, Blayke and Caleb Cappai, Tim & Ana Osborn and Patricia, Beau and Ashley....and the rest of our family, friends and community here in Claremore, Oklahoma!!!

  • Im from Fort scott kansas. about an hourish away from joplin. just wanted you joplin people to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you in joplin. God Bless all of you, ever single one of you.

  • (on my husbands account) the boy with the bandanna at the end of the video holding on to the old picture in the rubble - that's my baby brother! I just watched this video for the first time with my parents and my husband - not a dry eye in the room. Joplin will overcome this! Amazing video - thanks so much for posting this! - Kimmy Tramell

  • I can't beleive you guys wrote this! My mom works with you and told me about it, but I didn't expect it to be this good. Wow

  • Does anyone know where the last photo shown in this video was taken? Or where I could get a copy? I live in Joplin and spent the last two weeks working day and night at a relief center- having a copy of this photo would mean a lot.

  • @CurlyLindsay

I'm almost certain it's the same house as at the 2:20 mark, that says "God Bless Joplin!" on the wall. The message you're referring to is on another wall. I saw a picture in the KC Star on May 29th, that showed it. Not sure where the house is exactly, but shows it in relation to St. Johns and what may be the electrical substation on 26th. My best guess is the house is around 25th and Wall.

  • can't wait to get this song! It's amazing

  • That was the best video I've seen regarding the Joplin tornado...my son was buried alive under a 2 story apartment building but made it out..thank God. This video made me cry, I love it. Thank you for the song...

  • I pray for everybody that their houses got hit by a tornado, and lost a friend or family in a tornado, thats just too sad, I'm sorry and I know that things will get better in the long run, maybe not in a short time, but eventually every thing will be fine :) I love all of you that got hit by the storms, it means you r strong :D

  • Great Job guys....the pics pretty much say it all....Joplin will be back !!!!

  • I don't believe this is from God and I don't believe in a force called satan - but I do believe we need to think on how we hurt the planet and pollute and cause the storms to get worse - we get small taps, then harder ones to wake up - today we are being slapped upside the back of the head - I'm so sorry for how we destroy nature and how it seems nature has lashed back - I know I am not always good at my own caring for our earth - and I am sorry for that too.

  • This is so very powerful. Thank you for your talent and for doing this as a fund raiser. A link is going into my facebook page. Thank you also for donating to the Red Cross.

  • Thump up if Tiffany Alvord brought you here!

  • the world seriously needs to CHILL out with all the natural disasters. i HATE how soo many people have to die & have their lives destroyed.

  • like if tiffany alvord brought u here!! (she tweeted it)

  • Is there anyway to get this with the others put on a dvd to keep? there are a few that I bet you put them on dvd i know i would buy it to have for memories later I grew up in Joplin these songs shows what my home town has been through and could save for our grandkids

  • oh how this song makes me cry... :(

  • Do you know who the girl in the red shirt is on the tailgate of the truck with the 4 people? If you know, please tell me!

  • Its a funny thing how such destruction can immediately take the separation from and judgment of others completely away. You help because you want to, hug because you need to, cry because you have to. Humanity returns to a very basic level. How rich or poor, how young or old, or how handicapped or skilled one may be no longer matters. We are all human, each of us one of God's children no matter how personally different each of us can appear. My prayers are with all involved. By my girl Jena

  • Thank you so much for this! Prayers for all the storm victims...across our country.

  • The voice in the song is absolutely beautiful. Thank you Jesus for your talents.

  • Thank you!!!!!! God Bless!!!

  • Nice song, Thank you

  • This morning I was woken up by my cell phone ringing and to my surprise it was my friend Dustin's mom tell me they found Dustin I started to get excited then heard tears in her voice, they found Dustin under the rubble of his house :( I've waited this long with the hope and faith in my heart that he was alive, but I guess God wanted my angel... Dustin I Love You and Miss You

  • From Missouri thank you so much for what you are doing! God Bless you!

  • Well done Mr. Chapman, our love and prayers go out to all of those people who went thru this traumatic experience. But it is so good to see people coming together and taking care of each other. I am not sure it would happen many other places like it has around here, but it makes me so proud to be from southwest Missouri!! God bless Joplin!!

  • Please pray for my family. My brother lives in Joplin, he's lost sooo many friends. All of my siblings and parents were born at St. John's hospital. I use to live in Joplin until I moved to a town by Aurora. I know Joplin is strong, I pray for the people who are not found and desceased. Just please, again, pray for my family. We need a miracle.

  • My brother's S&R dog kilo at 0:50 -3

  • Anyone that lives too far away to actually help with the clean up I can help you get in touch with a way to help these victims. Thanks for posting and they're forever in my heart and prayers.

  • I am from Joplin, born and raised. My babies were born at St. John's Hospital, which now stands in ruins. The funerals began this week. So much devastation and despair. Just when I think the tears have surely run dry, I see this video and the floodgates open back up. Joplin is strong and proud. We will survive this...

  • Thank you for this song. thank you. I will be waiting for it to come out so I can download it. It sure gives one reason to stop and remember our priorities.

  • I'm from Indiana and this song left me speechless, the pictures, everything. I've been praying for everyone affected by the tornados, the ones who lost family members and friends and will continue to pray. I can't begin to imagine. I wish I knew how to help. I've been wanting to drive over and help out the best that I can. May God walk beside each and every one of you through this rough time and may you find peace. Keep your heads held high. :)

  • This is a beautiful, and thought-provoking song. I put your YouTube link on my FB page to help spread the word that it will be available for download June 5th. Been praying for all those touched by the tornado...God Bless. Sincerely, a friend from Illinois :-)

  • My family & I lost everything in Joplin's F5 tornado last week. Our home was entirely destroyed. It is now only a hole where a home once stood, Leveled rubble now, in a place once full of memories & hopes for the future. The whole house ripped off the foundation at once then the basement walls began to crumble in on us. Much life was lost in our neighborhood. Three doors down, across the street... We know we are blessed. This song has blessed us again. Thank you & may God love you & keep you.

  • This song captures so much that none of us could put into words. I live in Joplin and am very blessed and thankful to have our home. I'm not a big country fan but this song will probably be on my favorites list for many years to come!

  • This is beautiful. I live in Joplin,mo. Always have & always will. I was born & raised here,my babies were born & raised here. My family is here,,my heart is here in Joplin,mo. The devastation that has here is huge. I believe in my heart that we are a strong community and we will pull together & come back from this. When something like this happens, you definatly hug your loved ones more & a lil tighter & make sure that they know that you love them w/all your heart & soul. God Bless!!!!

  • @MrRickynshasta "Where Would You Go" will be available for download June 5th on itunes, and other online providers.

  • @MrRickynshasta iTunes released it early because of the great response and it's available right now.

  • I was born & raised in Joplin. Met my husband there, married there, my first two children were born there at the old St. John's. Growing up we lived in the area of town that's gone now. My mother retired from the St. John's that was hit, but she passed years ago. My brother lived there his whole life, he passed last year. I am not there physically nor did I lose my home, but it hurts so bad I can't even describe it when I look at what is left. It can never be the same again.

  • @Bookworm1943

I came from Joplin as well, in fact my husband and I met at the new Salvation Army back when it was J-Town. I've heard from others that we'll "get used" to seeing the devastation - but everytime I get to Taco Bell on main street chills run up my arms and I get so sick to my stomach. The night before the tornado, I was sitting on my moms porch (where the roof is now) looking over the neighborhood and remembering my teen years on that block. Now I can't even tell what's what.

  • will someone please tell me where i can purchase this song????? I want it!

  • This was so good,i live really close to Joplin,my husband works over there a lot,I just can't believe this happened there,it is so awful, but God will be with all of them that made it through this, and he will make them stronger for it.

  • OMG THIS IS AWESOME THANK YOU MARK CHAPMAN, YOU ARE THE GREATEST

  • Too country for me, but cannot argue that it is a very nice tribute! I like how you included all the states that have dealt with natural disasters. The people of Joplin have truly shown their determination and resolve in the face of adversity! (Most) everyone has been optimistic and encouraging throughout my experience there since the tornado. JOPLIN ROCKS!

  • where can i get this song??

  • What a heartfelt song! Even though pictures and words cannot explain how bad it is, this song captures the feeling well! It is amazing how strong the human spirit can be in times like this. A wise man from Joplin said, "we have scene the worst of Mother Nature but the best of Human Nature".

  • Thank you for this video, may God bless you.

  • Thank you so much, guys. God bless you.

  • This is amazing Thank you boys fighting back tears for a place I fell in love with 5 years ago and made my home, now I dont recognize it, I am lost in my own home.
