  • Wow! I'm having an Alice in Wonderland birthday party soon :)

  • Brilliant, but I would have to agree with the other comments; we'd like to hear how you did it... how long did this take you to do by the way ?

    *smiles*

  • Thank you! The figures took about 2 days to make and the cake itself maybe just a few hours. The cake was actually the simplest part. LOL!

  • Hello Ms. LauraPoopie, I love the videos, and this cake is amazing. I do have to say that I miss the vid's with you speaking and walking us through what was done. It was more of a homey feel, although the music is great. I do miss you walking us through what you did, whether it was for a b-day, those cool touches added more of a personal feeling. • HEY LAURA THIS CAKE IS AWESOME! I LOVE ALICE IN WONDERLAND. BTW DID YOU USE REGULAR ICING FOR THE HAT? WHAT DO YOU USE TO CUT OUT YOUR LETTERS THAT SAY HAPPY BDAY.

  • Thank you so much! The cake was just pure buttercream icing. The letters were cut out with gumpaste cutters I bought at Michael's. Glad you liked it. :0)

Haha! Midio como casi 2' de alto! :)

  • WOW!!! Laura this is amazing... love all the details.... you have been a busy gurl! Keep caking hun!

  • Thank you so much!

  • Excellent cake, Laura. Was the top fhat covered with fondant or is that buttercream that has been air brushed?

  • Thank you! It is buttercream that has been airbrushed. I was too scared to cover it with fondant because it was SO tall and I knew that for me, that would just be a disaster waiting to happen. :0)

  • Laura, I have trouble getting the fondant pieces to stick together. What do you use? water or gel?

  • I use edible glue which is a mixture of tylose powder and water. Aine2 here on youtube has a great tutorial on how to make the stuff. :0)

  • wow wow wow !!! Awesome!
