It is completely legal to stand in your front yard and videotape the police as they execute a traffic stop no matter how much they wish they had more privacy as your constitutional rights easily trump a cop's unlawful orders, and that is exactly why the charges against her have been dropped. Hopefully she files suit against them to remind them that we have rights not to be infringed by some bully gestapo.

@flexor212000 and I understand your point about the setup for an attack thing, but in America you have to have some kind of evidence to think i'm about to attack or arrange an attack before you get to violate my civil rights, and saying, "fuck the police," doesn't count as we also have the 1st amendment, you really should stop trying to defend the cop, he had no authority to arrest her or tell her to go inside as she wasn't obstructing his investigation, that's why the charges were dropped

@flexor212000 and I also can understand how a cop might feel intimidated arresting someone with a bunch of people around, but that's just too fucking bad ESPECIALLY when the onlookers are on their own private property, like I said earlier if you can't arrest people with onlookers then you can't do the job, you don't get to grant yourself unconstitutional authority because you wish there wasn't anybody watching you, if you don't feel safe, don't do the job, it comes with some risks...

To do their jobs once the man was put in the car one them just could have kept I eye on her her video. Could have became. A training. Video how to do a stop instead. Bottom line is the constitution is a mere shell of what it once was. If you think this is an isolated incident your mistaken. Police violate citizens rights every day, and many of them could care less about doing so. This citizen had every legal right to be where she was and video taping this incident. She was committing no crime. The cop had no right to order inside her home, he could suggest it, but he can't order it.
