I am happy about having find you guys. Finally someones that chare my point oy view. I wish I wasn´t that young and could have enjoyed this music right back when it came out.
I did it on your advice and it sounded like kitsch plastic & annoying "too beautiful music". In the Nursery is "the 80's" and then it's not very good hmm...but it's a personal taste there (-_-)
Things never change... All my favorite neoclassical and post-punk & wave bands have been called Joy Division-rip off now... I swear! Why can't we all join hands and celebrate great music :)
Things have changed, if you compare the actual situation to the one from the 80's and with more depth, to the one from the early 90's. Some doors have been opened, while obvisously still closed. Unique beauty stays a secret for the ones who can keep open the(ir) boxes. And yeah, Music is "M"usic (-_-)
Feel the cold touch of stone Survey the Lord's land of souls Ineffable thoughts are all too much And I'm left here to wonder Unknown names project their past And I'm left here to wonder Etched forever for us to realise Crying out, crying, trying to connect Lost images present my omega My final engagement In a deep peaceful sleep In a desperate dream I'll walk alone Feel the cold touch of stone Survey the Lord's land of souls Ineffable thoughts are all too much And I'm left here to wonder...
This does sound a bit like Joy Division but this particular song sounds like "good" Joy Division and that's saying something. Then again interpol sounds just like Joy Division too so ...

Most post-punk/cold/darkwave bands sound like the Cure or Joy Division to those who are new to the genre or are half deaf.
