4300K are the brightest. the slight blue tinge comes from the projector lense. if you want a nice blue/white with a lot of light output, get 6000k. i have 'em and they're great!

The higher the Kelvins, the lower the light output. You should only be getting max 6000K. Blue light also tires the eye, and produces a lot glare to all traffic. Also without a proper projection headlights, the HID light will be scattered. Don't be a ricer.
SMD- I'm having the same prob. I have the 12k HIDs and they look like between those 10k and 12k. Cant figure why. Maybe bad connection ? I notice when I installed one fog (12k) it was dark blue. But once I hooked up the other fog light it looked like the went whiter !? Any idea ?

Ok everyone didn't know difference in hids first the bluest ones are 10ks only thing higher is 12ks which are purple. All of those merchants tell you that they are 12k and the stupidest one was 50000k they just want to sell the product do your research not the merchants research
problem with anything over 8k is that the cops target you due tot eh lights looking blue. Plus if you do not have the right type of headlights you can blind oncoming traffic. I am all for upgrading a car to HiD if it is done right. I have done several cars and trucks and so far none have gotten tickets or pulled over in Mississippi. As far as fog lights go I recommend getting the yellow Hid lights they wont blind oncoming traffic.

Ballasts run about $20 each & bulbs run about $16 a pair, so $46 for an entire kit. You're going to spend a lot more if you buy from anywhere else.

10K is still pretty good and will be bright blue, 8000K will be whiter in color with a slight blue tint. Both are good, more people get the 8000K though.

Get 10000k or 12000k only if you don't like seeing where you're going at night. Deep blue light does not illuminate stuff at night. If you want usable light, get 4300k-6000k. They throw much more light than 10000-12000k.

Only if stupid ricers or big truck rednecks put HID's into cars with non-HID reflectors instead of proper reflectors or projector housings. Then they have a sharper cut-off than normal halogens so they actually blind you a little less then normal lamps.

The higher the Kelvins, the lower the light output. You should only be getting max 6000K. Blue light also tires the eye, and produces a lot glare to all traffic. Also without a proper projection headlights, the HID light will be scattered. Don't be a ricer.

problem with anything over 8k is that the cops target you due tot eh lights looking blue. Plus if you do not have the right type of headlights you can blind oncoming traffic. I am all for upgrading a car to HiD if it is done right. I have done several cars and trucks and so far none have gotten tickets or pulled over in Mississippi. As far as fog lights go I recommend getting the yellow Hid lights they wont blind oncoming traffic.

Ballasts run about $20 each & bulbs run about $16 a pair, so $46 for an entire kit. You're going to spend a lot more if you buy from anywhere else.

Get 10000k or 12000k only if you don't like seeing where you're going at night. Deep blue light does not illuminate stuff at night. If you want usable light, get 4300k-6000k. They throw much more light than 10000-12000k.

Only if stupid ricers or big truck rednecks put HID's into cars with non-HID reflectors instead of proper reflectors or projector housings. Then they have a sharper cut-off than normal halogens so they actually blind you a little less then normal lamps.
