Yes, this is actually test range footage with an old M60 tank towing the target vehicle. But it does make a good weapon against non-armored targets as it's smaller warhead limits collateral damage and it is very precise. Course now it has to compete with the AKWS II guided 70mm rocket the Marines, Navy, and likely the Army, want to adopt.

To expand, the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II, or AKWS II, basicly adds a laser-guidance package to a 2.75" (70mm) folding fin aerial rocket. Those have been around for awhile, but the various companies trying to build a guided version found it was tougher then expected to miniturize a guidance package for them. But now they are to be tested out on AV-8 and A-10's. If it works out, they'll quickly find their way to UAVs (4-shot pack for each Hellfire) and chopper gunships.
