welllll look just where democrats have gotten us now. i dont care if you didnt like the way bush was running things he was better than obama. democrats are going the way of socialism, not being conservative. and the problem with socialism is that you will eventually run out of other people's money. should i give up my money because i work harder? i think not. be involved in politics, but understand what exactly each party wants

Ehh, debatable, I think. I think it's also highly dependant on the president's A) strong points, and B) cabinet. And whether or not someone is experienced, if they surround themselves with people like Sarah Palin (shudder), that's not as wise as, say, Colin Powell and Joe Biden (regarding foreign affairs and the war). so like... I'm not saying experience isn't important. I'm just saying that I think Obama is preparing for his presidency more wisely than the republican candidate.
and also, I do agree that it's important to have someone in the white house who can connect with the American people, and not base their executive decisions on biased reports etc. And I feel that Obama is more fit for the executive decision based on this. I feel we need a Democrat in the White House, but I do respect your views, and see your points. So Word.

T_T I think that with today's medical advancements John McCain will survive the term. Normal people need to be in the white house to understand the needs of the people instead of just getting biased reports every so often.
