  • Thanks for you email. I have managed to get hold of a CD copy of "tears in your eyes", from Bill's daughter, Sue. She was over here last year from Australia, we all met up and had a trip down memory lane, how The Napier has changed now.

Some people call it progress but I have a special word for it.

  • Bill's pianist in the early 80s (and quite a lot longer too) was Hugh Crozier. I also have a copy of Tears in Your Eyes etc.

  • this is great! it's too bad that they did not stay together as a band for very long.

  • Thanks so much for this

  • I have been a great fan of Bill Brunskill and have a couple of lp's but i hoped someone would post up some video,I saw the band live a few times and remember them using that phrase in a jokey way to introduce a tune [i dont remember what the tune was1} but i did not know it was the title of an LP,does anyone have any video of the band,i do remember that he allways had good sidemen

Les Hanscombe& Kid Tidiman, etc etcI would love to see some of those people in action again.

  • I used to see them at The Lord Napier most Sundays in the early 80's and am trying to remember the name of the pianist he had then. Can anyone help. He had longish fair hair and was quite large.

  • I am after an album called: "tears in your eyes as big as buckets." if you can help it's really appreciated
