This song to me, represents growing up in a plastic catholic church as a little girl and wondering why I was so sad, and everyone was so happy, never understanding what the priest was talking about and leaving church just as empty as I had entered. Wondering why I was calling a priest "father" when my true one and only father was GOD. Definitely a stained glass mascquerade, I feel so sorry for my fellow catholic friends and family that they do not want to hear the truth, I pray for their souls

Very true video. I cannot go to churches any more,..because it IS a masquerade, with smiling, successful, wealthy ,happy, perfect families. I have no family to sit with. My family is dysfunctional. I am alone, not successful, not rich,don't have stylish clothes. To them, I am a 'loser'. It is "survival of the fittest". Sorry, I cannot be perfect. I do not fit in..I am not like them. Yes, I am a born again Christian. I do not think I am the only one who feels like this.-from ex-church goer

I am not trying to be rude, but God is ALWAYS building His church and is on the move. If you earnestly seek His will and pray for his guidance He will show you to the right church. We cannot dictate the spiritual lives of others, but God does command us to make disciples and to be a blessing to His body. Joining a local church body is the best way to accomplish this. @liveacoustic11 Ok, sure. That does not negate the fact that many churches are very insulated and do not want anyone 'different' or 'troubled' or 'a problem' in their midst. I have been to many churches in my life, and know how they operate. They do NOT reprsent Jesus in most cases. The devil does his best work in churches.

And I thought I would share with you a challenge I myself saw in the Scriptures.

John 13 Jesus washes His disciples' feet....and notice, He washed Judas's feet as well. Jesus knew Judas was "playing Christianity", his mask cannot fool God. But God humbled himself and served just like he was a true believer! What a challenge to us all!

This speaks so true! A lot of us act like we shouldn't be upset or worried about our lives... but one thing we keep forgetting is: we're all humans with feelings, and God knows how he made us- Not to be alone in our problems. As Christians, we are supposed to help others, not shun them.

i think my church needs 2 hear this song. whan they found what im really like, they didn't act like a church. most of them turned there back on me. so now im forced to fake a smile and pretend everything is ok. my church acts like they r perfect and look down on everyone that doesn't act like them. but i love this song and its so true. this video is amazing!!!
