  • Can't play a Uke but it can be played on the guitar if you put the capo on the 7th fret. Calls for a weird chord a couple times but it can be done.

  • I love this album!

  • Nice ........Brings back great memories.....' I like every minute' of this album!!

  • Sorry Eddie V. ! Pete beat you to it years ago!

  • Eddie Vedder said his new ukulele album was influenced by this song in this month's Rolling Stone.

Just goes to show a good enough song can basically spawn total albums.

  • @blwbl The song "Longing To Belong" from Eddie's album is almost a copycat of this song...and that's not a bad thing.

  • good clean sound

  • i want this song played at my funeral<3

  • This song expresses my relationship to a T. love is a funny thing, in how it works.

  • Pete, I thank ya, with all my Heart. My Mum who is dying now, embraced this song...and believe me she was quite judgemental...after all the press around the super bowl. Nevertheless...had the song on once...went to turn it off...and she said...LEAVE IT ON...i LIKE this song. Seems this will be the last song I helped her discover...Your words and music...are on a straightline to an ultimate destiney. I just sang it to her yesterday...

  • @steele917 Good luck to your mom who has great taste.

  • Another simple and charming tune from Pete!! I love it!!

  • This song comes on....every morning on Sunday. The radio station

mixes it in with other acoustic songs. Might be the most lovely thing

I have heard in a while. Believe it or not, I think this is a song that is

"tongue and cheek" or rather meant to be sarcastic. Probably the

opposite is true for the narrator, but they only wish they were not.

  • This song is when he is talking bout commiting suicide

  • Thank You !

  • I feel like crying a little. Not in a bad way, of course.

  • With apologies to Petey...

My sweet babboo did it better on his solo tour last fall!

  • @SnugglySara I am hurt, I thought I was your sweet babboo? --frumph--

  • @Interview1998 There there, you can be my sweet babboo if you want. :-)

  • NO ONE beats The Who!! EVER!

  • The Who are my favorite band, and this is my favorite song. Pete's a capital-G Genius. They were so smart not to mess with this one on the album. Simple & pure.

  • terrific song...

  • a simple but very nice song!

    carpe diem!

  • @anino5 You can carpe DEEZ NUTZ!
