basically, 24pm = 24 fps, not 23.976fps. it didn't look right with a standard 24p timeline. there was not much that i could do but render everything under the desired frame rate.
so yes, youre correct. now with newer versions of avid, fpc, and cs, 24pn is not a real problem, although one will want to keep in mind the final resolution + fps of the product when filming.
@kkkronking: it's fried by silent army. he's a one-man independent band. you can find it on his second album, "like clock werk". i'm not sure where to find it online. it's been awhile since i picked it up.

I don't understand, what issues were you having with 24pN? Was your timeline 720 24p?
