It took ME a long time to come to grips with the fact that I'm an artist.

I worked professionally in animation for years, and walked away, also, because the work I was doing was garbage. Animation for TV. Just crap.

Having artistic integrity is a tough thing to live with. Sometimes I wish I didn't have it. I'd make a comfortable living as a hack.
