well i use to go out in the car finding places to ride the t-max(still do) and come across some land were it was like pit gravel, nice stuff then a lad came over with his savage x and was like joking around saying carnt wait kill that t-max with this savage and i actually laft in his face but let me tell you this he was the one laffin in the end. i actually couldent beleive what my eyes was seeing the savage outclassed my t-max in every catogory, thats why i got a savage then a xl.

hi there ive got the t-maxx 3.3 and the savage X, not SS, and theres no fight between them there just simply in a different league. savage is truely better, more powerfuller resulting in a better truck, NOW the savage XL is defo in a league of its own faster, stronger and more agressive,better handling, a true beast. just all depends on how mush your misses lets you spend. ha ha cya

Savage chassis owns yo momma and all traxxas frames FLEX!How much travel does your Tmaxx have? Not 6 inches like my Sav. There isn't a Traxxas on the planet that can pown a Big Block Sav. You don't own a 4.6 so stfu. Traxxas 3.3/2.5 are pretty good but nobody bashes like a Savage unless you want to bring a Cen Genesis/Nemesis to this party.

the reason they can go a bit faster is cos they use a high geard gear box wich puts strain on the engine and gives the pieces of shit very low torque,i raced this guy who had a tmaxx up a hill and it was crawlin compared to my savage wich shot up the hill!!!!!!!

No..he made alot of stunts with it but in less than a week he broke 5 deffernet dogbones in his car and his brake got locked once and most the time its deffecult to start the engine realy headach..so i guess its weaker than we thought...after all all rc's are made in china so thats why! ... we are thinking to convert to brushless buggies ...no engine starting headache , no big sound that disturbs the neighbors, no buying expensive nitro (13$) in my country

the gears craked and then i got the metal gear kit and the instructions were backwards and i put the one gear in wrong and i had no steering for 2 weeks taking it apart everyday

the only difference to the savage x f4.1 rtr is:a k4.6 cc engine,dual fibre disk breaks,newer bodyshell a steel clutch bell spacer (and the only difference is it dosent strip as easily as the brass one)and the alloy diff cases(wich are included free with the savage x anyway)there only spendin a extra £50 on parts if that.
