Saving money is great, but it sucks that the value of a American Dollar keeps going down. When i get old and retire, will the buck even be worth much?
saving up and investing is a great idea of course. the one thing i don't like though, is when people get unnecessarily cheap. don't be cheap about tipping cuz this country lives off it. also, don't be cheap with your friends. at the end of the day, your family and your true friends are all you have. they are worth spending a few extra bucks on, and they'll notice. don't be that guy out w/ ur friends at a diner and fighting over an extra couple of bucks. shows ur character, or lack thereof.

Really glad you picked this topic Jerry. I am currently 19 and paying my way through college. Due to the economy, I cannot afford to go to college, but I cannot afford NOT to go to college because finding a job is so difficult without a degree. I have saved up about 6,000$ dollars during high school for my college education because I knew I'd be alone in paying for school, but that is barely enough to pay for one year of school. I'm hoping to get scholarships to keep the dream alive.
Jerry, good stuff man. Even though there's alot to talk about with the NBA right now (Big 3 getting split up) (The shifting of an era) (The rise of the Thunder) (The rise of the Sixers and Pacers in the east) etc, it's good to hear you discuss something else once in awhile
