  • is saturn that morning planet i see? here in L A we don't get to see too many stars, but this thing is the brightest in the sky a high eastern sky.

  • how much were the telescopes? and where do you get them from?

that was cool, its was great vision too:)

  • Love the detail..

I can't wait to see Saturn again, a few months now *rubs hands*

  • amazing and beautiful. what equipment was used?

  • How do u c the planets!Through a telescope!Anyway its amazing i will subcribe to ur vidsRemember 2 subscribe 2 us

  • it looks scary, saturn is my fav. planet.

    the ring is facinating

  • Very good processing job.

  • What was the total magnification taken? Or just the eyepiece magnification?

  • The total eyepiece magnification was about 96X, which was brought up to about 960X with optical zoom on the camera.

  • I'd be interested in knowing more about owning a telescope !!

  • That was awesome. I wonder though why does the hue or color of Saturn seem to change throughout the video?

  • I never noticed that before - it seems to be pretty subtle. I think that was probably just the camera trying to auto-adjust the hue settings though.

  • man i have no idea what telescope to get im just an amateur admirer of space..not into photography or anything. but tonight was a lunar eclipse and Saturn was right by it, and even just seeing a small glimpse of the planet and the rings was a historical event to me. so what im asking is, what is a good telescope without breaking past 1000 bucks.

  • Hi, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the lunar eclipse and Saturn. Both are fantastic views.

As for a telescope, the one I use (a 10" Dobsonian) is under $1000 Australian. You should be able to find a similar telescope at some local telescope shops or online.

  • thanks a lot, i hope the conversion from australian to canadian isnt too much of a difference :D

  • it seems that u were near the source of heat. right? anyway, nice vid.

  • Pardon? What do you mean by "near the source of heat"?

  • "it seems that u were near the source of heat. right? anyway, nice vid"

    It's just normal atmospheric noise...
