he took a different approach on the character. doesn't meant it was bad. it was just different. he didnt look or talk like the character (obviously) so why not make it your own? isnt that what a true artist is? (yes, it is.)

very true. Many of the actors in this had very interesting approaches. For example, when lucy did her line like an excited little kid. I have never seen that done, and it brings out the character of an excited little kid who wants to help her hero.
