  • Can someone explain that "triplet" thing he does b/w the snare, rack, floor and possibly bass drum

  • Every video I watch of him there is at least one highest rated comment stating he is god and it cracks me up even though it's true.

  • Neil Peart: A Nap In Progress lol

  • Yep. Defenitly needed that replay.

  • Neil Peart...<3

  • @fassaalbrecht You gotta love da professor ;)

  • those DWs sound so much better w those coated heads!!

  • Hi, im a mad scientist. Ive just designed a robot that looks and plays exactly like Neil Peart. Its name is Peil Neart. Guaranteed to last until year 2112, at which time it will explode into millions of tiny mini-Peil Nearts.

  • @dwilmer7 Peil Nearts sounds like a type of candy.

  • I don't know. Each one has their own taste about any subject, so I respect your opinion.

Although Peart remains in my top list of favourite drummers.

  • probably Gene krupa.... I`m just guessin

  • Uncle Neil Rools!

  • Of course I will.

  • thanks dude

  • His Cymbals are Sabian not Zildjian. Love this fill

  • As I said before. In this video, he still used Zildjians.

    Best Regards Loda23!

  • yes you're right hitman, he didn't swtich to sabian until about 2 years ago

  • he switched to sabian in about 2004

  • Yes. He first used them for the R30 album, then Feedback and finally Snakes & Arrows, in the year 2007.

    Thanks lachie10!

  • @TheHitman1990 Technically he used the Sabian's first at the Sars concert in Toronto :)

  • @TheHitman1990 Er...there wasn't really an "R30 album", except for the live two-disc set from their R30 tour. And Feedback was released *before* that tour. Snakes & Arrows came out 2006, with the S & A tour happening in 2007, and the "Snakes & Arrows Live" tour happening in 2008. The Snakes & Arrows Live tour was just an extension of the 2007 Snakes & Arrows tour, because it sold so well.

  • Yeah, a great choice, they sound fantastic, those paragons.

  • Yeah, they sound great all the way.

    Thanx for the comment dude

  • No problem :).

  • well it all depends on your taste...one person might have an eargasm, but another might think they sound trashy or crappy...i think they sound good! :)
