@Abenkin You have to adapt to your opponent. That's the difference between what they say the professional league and the "Ivey League." Too many pick up AA and if the flop comes all lowers and isn't too terribly scary, they immediately think they have the nuts. Well, you only have the nuts if you can read from your opponents that you do. He obviously disregarded what Ivey was doing and just assumed he was good. With Ivey's small bet it was good to raise, but when Ivey calls like that, be scared.
@aieljose You can't eliminate Ivey raising with Slick Rick the ruler (AK) suited there. Even though mathematically if your holding two aces its rare if he's holding another one (but i've seen stranger shit happen)....but that Q would have slowed me down. What do you think?

This is a very, interesting hand. If you have played a TON of live poker like Mr. Ivey has, the guys body language PREFLOP is a MASSIVE tell. wtf is he dwindling about then flat calling? HM I WONDER. It was evident "oh im gonna trap him with aces and just pwn him postflop". Then he checks the flop. Betting the set here is key, PRAYING your opp got a piece of it (in this case, the highest overpair). WHen he check raises, Ivey has the scrub where he wants (and basically puts him on a monster)

Trapping with aces in fine in certain situations but surely the one person in the world you don't want to play fancy against is Phil Ivey! Put in a chunky re-raise and he flops a set on you there's nothing you can do.

if the opponent is calling him all streets,his opponent has MORE THAN 1 PAIR, so he MUST stop betting all steets with only 1 pair.

The guy with aces is so bad. It was most likely ivey had ace king which gave him the nuts and the river. If not ace king he had a Jack and with a 10 and a queen and the board that could easily give him two pair. Or of corse, a set. What were the aces beating? Jack 9????

This is a very, interesting hand. If you have played a TON of live poker like Mr. Ivey has, the guys body language PREFLOP is a MASSIVE tell. wtf is he dwindling about then flat calling? HM I WONDER. It was evident "oh im gonna trap him with aces and just pwn him postflop". Then he checks the flop. Betting the set here is key, PRAYING your opp got a piece of it (in this case, the highest overpair). WHen he check raises, Ivey has the scrub where he wants (and basically puts him on a monster)
