God damn. I REALLY suck at Mercenaries. For some reason the enemies don't really like to swarm me as much. I can get up to about a 15 combo then they all disappear.

@agent2800 to be precise his manually reloading to avoid be cought off guard and its the fastest way to reload and the safest way for example wesker shotgun reloading animation is long but w/ manual reload its going to be fast like this guy doing in the video^^

@13KuroNekoXIII Explosive damage reduces the reaper's health to near 0. The reaper stepped on a mine I placed, and after that I only had to hit it with anything to kill it.

Usually at the beggining I just first grab all the time then I start to go after the combo time without shooting any enemies. When I reach the chest I start to kill. Is this a well enough strategy? I am clearly not good as you.

Ha, I was never a big fan of Rebecca Chambers. She's just too, to put it a better way... Girly. Jill and Ada are the best female protaganists. They're cool, tough and sexy. i likes. i haven't actually killed all 150 enemies in any of my runs in solo reunion so far. i like to kill things fast. =3 and trust me when i say fast. and then i run out of time. d'oh!!

My first runs in reunion were the same for me, I always ran out of time before killing the enemies. Since then I've been making sure I go on a little mindless melee spam spree to make sure I have enough time.

I've been cowardly though. So far I've only tried public assembly and mines a lot in solo mode. Which are the easiest stages to keep a combo for me.

My weak point is the aiming, which prevents me from use melee very successfully. I always failed to aim the head in time.

Soloing in Mercenaries is just wrong. This game really wasn't made for that.

It's far too difficult to hold a combo either, and most characters don't have good weapons to fight off bosses.

I think duo is definitely the way to go, but solo is a fun challenge too. Killing bosses isn't that hard in Reunion, almost every character has one way of easily killing bosses, which is usually with a magnum or a shotgun. Keeping the combo is definitely super hard. I've barely managed to get a 150 combo on each stage in duo mode... no way am I doing that in solo. I haven't had a single 150 combo in solo mode so far.

Damn, the "reload-every-single-melee" technique is annoying. You shouldn't have to do it THAT often. Just do it once every 5 or six times. It'll prevent breaks in concentration.

I usually play with a character which has a pistol as main weapon, which makes often reloads more useful. And after playing for hours and hours this has just become habit for me. I think doing the opposite would be a bigger break in concentration because this is what I'm used to.

Skip the first minute or so, after that I don't do that many melees in this playthrough.
