It's painful to see that people watching this movie are interested only in the hot actor rather than in the content of the story. There's more than a gay love story here, it's about art, revolution, student radicalism, idealism, courage, integrity, a people's fight for freedom, and not least the history of a great country. Hopefully some intelligent spectator will notice these too!

I'm mexican, so I know about the spanish revolution, and I also love all of Dali's work, he was a great artist... So I notice, not just because Robert is playing him but because they did something quite special with the story...

i have the movie and have seen it 1000+ times so i know it pretty well by now this is when they go for their vacation to cadaques dali's home and after they go for a ride with bicucles it goes to this point where he writes and dali paints and makes his real existing painting calles cenicitas which as i read translates to little ashes which is the title one of the most magical moments int he movie excellent work!

idk why people are stressing over this movie. its just a movie, he's an actor. he is payed to act out the roles. so why are people accusing him of being what is not, or that he is less of an actor for doing this movie. id loved. i think that a person has to be a good actor to do things that he/she might not feel comfortable with. that aside, a true fan loves the actor for his abilities and looks, (lol for the second one). either way is a great movie.

no it starts nothing like this, it starts with a poem and frederico in his room.this is in the middle of the movie.becuse it was a limmit movie there is a very small chance anybody has it and put it on youtube or anyother site,i sugust you wait a few weeks after its out on video.i might put it on if i can get a copy,but im sure some one will.

OMG. I KNOW.Here it was in for not even a week. I think it was out Friday and gone by Monday. I thought it was just our theater here cause we didnt get James Bond until WAAAY after it was out and we never get any of the good movies. ALSO it never has butter for the pocorn, only has 2 kinds of chocolate, and is never clean. Timmins Sucks. Lmao.
