  • Looks like a nicce student violin.

  • COPYYYY!

  • "Copy of" .......kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk...........kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • You can not only tell it's not a Strad by the label, but also because it looks like a lump of crap.

  • this is not a strad......

  • Fake and Gay.

  • Did you fashion that Violin in Wood Shop???

  • i would be amazed if that thing sounded ANYTHING like a 19 centery violin. Much less than a Stradivarius.

  • That violin has less than 10 years

  • Looks to be an ok student violin. The tapes on the fingerboard kind of proves it.

  • Looks to be an ok student violin.

  • Oh. I was hoping he would open it in 35 seconds. THAT would have been exciting.

  • I knew wasn't a Stradivarius because the label is different. And I believe I saw: Copy Of.

  • ho....

  • bwahahaa!

  • i beleive the tag said copy of

  • Bird's shit

  • What the hell did you do to the poor thing?!?!?

  • idiots opening a real stradivarius violin would like be giving a baby

millon dollars and plus you don't wan't to open it cause then the violin is not special because

everybody is going to have one and then its crap

  • Hey buddy. IT'S A FRIGGIN MASS-PRODUCED COPY. God. there's someone just like you in my orchestra. his glasses must not be thick enough to show the "copy" right above the "Amati"

  • That is NOT Stradivarius.

  • For all enthusiasts who like to see real Strads please see our video stradivaribooks on youtube or look at our life size documentation.

  • Oh my god, I feel like as if I am watching a vivisection! Horror!

  • I just feel sorry for the poor violin! What caused that crack? And so what if it was a copy? I'm currently doing my googling on violin construction, and I found it rather informative as to the methods that Strad used (As the copies took strong stock of his methods of construction)

  • 35 seconds of my life i will never get back...

  • While being a copy...I would advise you to look further into the way he spelled his name. A lot of you have a lot to learn about this man. It was in fact Stradivarius...on a label, inside the instrument. Think before you talk. Look at the link of a video next to here: Secret of stradivarius violin revealed....and what do you see for a label???

  • fake

  • ese violin es copia

  • ese violin es copia y la tapa no esde pino abeto(not spruce) es madera contrachapada

  • Should have been "Stradivarius Violin Breaking"

  • That is a copy of stradivarius!

The label on the bottom says: "COPY OF ANTONIUS STRADIVARIUS 1713"

So it is made in America or somewhere much after that period by somebody not named Antonio Stradivari. The name is also wrong. He was Antonio Stradivari NOT Antonius Stradivarius. And it prints small "COPY OF".

  • @aerocomputer

the name is right. antonius stradivarius was his latin name.

  • @aerocomputer of course it's a copy. You can never see "Stradivarius" on a real Stradivarius. 'cause the manufacterer's real name is Stradivari.

  • @bfeyalcin Wrong.

Antonio Stradivari is his name. However, on his inscriptions inside the violin, he used the Roman version of his name - Antonius Stradivarius. You can see inside one on another YT vid about the 'secret' of Strads... It's a museum examining under a microscope. Pretty sure it's a legit piece. They have 5 of them.

However, I'm pretty sure he never wrote "copy of" on the inside... ;)

  • @aerocomputer I think you're right.

  • @aerocomputer

True, but Stradivari often used the Latinization of his name.

  • @aerocomputer : Not true. The original labels in Stradivari's violins usually say "Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 17...", in Latin, that is :-)

  • @bersa888 : and, obviously, this is just a copy...

  • @aerocomputer don't need to argue...it's a shit $100 violin.

  • @aerocomputer you need to get your own facts right, despite that it clearly depicts an original piece of deceitful crap, in that the maker used Stradivarius on his violins, not Stradivari as you stated! People need to research before replying to the world...no matter how ignorant one may be!!

  • @aerocomputer There is more than One Stradivarius in the world...

  • @marielephant1 Yes but there are many shitty 50 $ imitations everywhere. This is obviously one of them.

  • @punkypenguin321 ahahahah

  • if you look closely, the label says COPY OF Antonius Stradivarius... the poor chap thought we wouldn't be able to see, evidently.

  • What kind of Stradivarius has fingering tape??

  • @azndaemon95 so true

  • FAKE! And a piss poor copy at that. Antonio Stradivari died in 1729!

  • Okay! If you look carefully on the top of the stradivarius it says "copy of" which means it's a copy!

  • It's a tomato crate

  • That's NOT an authentic Strad!! By no means!

  • It's obviously a machine made P.O.S.

  • fake as fuck

  • fakee

  • It says copy of!!!

  • PURO DINERO TIRADO MÁS DE UN MILLON MORE OF MILLION $

  • There are a lot of copies of stradivarius violins. I have one. I had a shock when a read inside of my violin "ANTONIUS STRDIVARIUS CREMONA FACIEBAT 1781" . Of course Antonius was dead in that year. As I understood my copy is a "genuine" copy of a copy of a Stradivarius violin made by some german violin makers. Unfortunately it has a small crack near the S, the small piece of wood inside feld and it sonds like hell.

  • @filipiliescu "ANTONIUS STRDIVARIUS CREMONA FACIEBAT 1781" is a typical copy of the original one. See Wikipedia.

  • Its says "copy of " and the label is hardly real, look up what the real label should look like, that is why he would take it apart, 10s of thousands and millions of copies...nothing to get emotional about.

  • Copy of

  • Thats no strad and you broke the face its junk now and was probably junk before

  • At first I was just like why is he opening it?! Then I seen the tag and I was like oh my it's just a fake. All well idc now lol

  • omg...it says "copy of" LOL!

  • @Apenvoet at 0:26...FAIL!

  • inutil ese violin tan feo aprenda hacer uno normal y despues si trate de imitar el el violin de antonio stradivari ¡imbecil!

  • this is a copy of stradivarius totally fake i have a antonio stradivarius cremonsis as faciebat anno 1726 made in germany and this is a copy

  • FAKE!!!!

  • Thank god it's not real

  • lol i didnt know they had stickers back then in the violins

  • that is not a stradivari;)

  • Fake fake is fake. It clearly says copy on the label, and you'd be fucking retarded to do this to a genuin strad. For shame.

  • If you believe this is a real Strad, then you better believe that I am George Clooney!!

  • @Hooshikhan hi George!

  • fakest strad ive ever seen look at the tag! doesnt even have the symbol on it!

  • thats made in china broooo

  • um, "Copy of Antonino...," right there on the label

  • There is tape on the violins fingerboard.

  • k based on studys theres not a lot of real ones this is a real violin but this is a replica of the real stradivarious violin... so yeah expensive maybe in the thousands but not millions the one in the millions range wont be likely sold in stores mostly in public auctions not ebay i mean the rich people auction places...

  • This is no Strad, this is a cheap shit violin and this jurk cracked the top taking it off! This man can't change oil in a car without sripping the drain plug threads! This crap violin is worth about $20 maybe! Sir you have no credibility!

  • @dpoland

the replica strad violins are in the thousands... but yes he was stupid to breal the top of the violin

  • to clarify: first of all, that is 'varnish', not paint on the violin; the wood used is plain, not highly flamed like in high quality instruments; the 'F' holes are generally Stradivari-shaped; the black piece of wood is called the 'fingerboard', not the 'keyboard' and is not supposed to be varnished. To 6134447, there are more than 10 originals. More like about 300. You're right, this one is an imitation, and a poor one at that. Keep in mind, some people just play for their own enjoyment.

  • @violindave2 600-650 originals in existence but your close w/300

  • I work at a violin shop repairing high-priced violins, this is definitely not one of those! Too many things to point out that are not original. This violin probably sells in the ball park of $250: a real Stradivarius starts at about $3M (million). Also, the bass bar on this example is too thick and not shaped right. Don't believe the labels. It takes a trained expert to tell the quality of an instrument and whether it's real or a copy.

  • @violindave2 I think the huge oversize label that says copy of a Stradivarius is a dead give away. You can also get a Stradivarius for less than 3 million starting at about 1 million maybe less for one before the year 1700. The red varnished Strads which are the most expensive came out about 1700 on. They are not the most expensive violins topping out at around 6 million, the most expensive is more than likely the Vieuxtemps Guarneri of 1741 which has an estimated value of around 18 million.

  • This is a Chinese violin.

1 the interior wood is too light, the Stradivarius violins are dark due to age.

    2 the paint is scandalous.

3 the form is not the Stradivarius the F, the keyboard and scroll.

4 to that shown is Chinese.

  • Notice how it says on the label inside the violin during 0:27 "copy of Antonio Stradivarius 1713" Copy = Fake..DUHHHHHHH!!!! but hey cut him some slack id be a lil excited 2 if i could get my hands on at least a close copy to the legendary Strad violin.

  • at 0:27 you can see it says copy of antoios stradivarius

  • @saitycsart, But it seems that the tag was created by whoever made this video to try to fool us into thinking this was a real Stradivarius. I highly doubt it, since all/most of the known Stradivariuses are with professional players, museums, or special associations/groups, and they are highly valued. If this guy had a real Stradivarius, he'd probably sell it. =P

  • Fake

  • This is not a Stradivarius, just an imitation. Please, be real. There are less than 10 existing real Stradivarius and think, even if them are sold on auctions for millions of Dollars are fakes.

  • Comment removed

  • What is such the big deal about a Stradivarius Violin anyways. If there are only about 10 left and no one has really heard one or seen a real one, then that instrument has no greatness to it. I say who ever bought all of these instruments needs to play them and quit worrying about "preserving" them. If the instrument is not played then it is the same thing as a collectable which are useless other than for keeping and looking at. Instruments should be played and seen not just collected and prized

  • @jeiluifang

IBut not all people can play it.. Only by truly virtuosic people. Its somehow their prize when they get to play it and what a geat honor it is to play such a wonderful antique instrument. Since it is the most precious instrument ever made. Its sound is just incomparable- most stunning.

I agree with preserving them though- for people who deserve to play it that is.

But this is no Stadivarius. Obviously.

  • If this was real then he would never open it cuz it can cost up to a few milion and on top of that... the tag is too new.

  • horse hockey

  • True it is that thoes violin was made by Stradivari's students. They sing violins by his name.

  • stradivarious violin dont have polished color fake and gay

  • you are so stupid... fuck you gay!

  • Isso eh um strad?hahahahaha

  • FAKE AND GAY

  • stradivarius made in china jeje

  • @smunsunrik It's not a chinese copy.It's no worth to copy.

  • Sorry to tell you, you can't buy a Strad at a garage sale. It looks as much like a Strad as my chest of drawers. Sorry to dash your hopes.

  • That's soooooooooo fake!!!!! (what a rip off!)

  • lol..... it's broken

  • Well Duh!!! Its says "Copy Of" right on the label.

  • Ese violin es solamente una copia, no es un Stradivarius original

  • If that's a real stradivarius, then islam is a religion of peace.

  • @islamstillsucksallah Islam literally translates to peace...

  • @knelbaz

Yes, I saw islam's 'peace' on Sept. 11, 2001. I see it every day on the news where this 'peaceful' islam has blown up innocent people. islam is nothing but a psychotic cult of death for the mentally insane. Anyone thinking islam is 'peace' truly needs to pull their fucking heads out of muhammad's stinking ass.

  • @islamstillsucksallah youre an ignorant fuck. islam is intended to be very peaceful. those crazy bastards you see blowing up shit have interpreted it entirely the wrong way. why youre talking about this on a video of a violin im not sure, but you should take your ignorance somewhere else.

  • @777RAD777

YOU are the ignorant cunt face, cunt face. islam peaceful? Ya, every morning I see just how fuckin' peaceful that motherfucking cult of psychotic death is. Now, go shove your fucking face up muhammad's vaginas.

  • @islamstillsucksallah I'm not trying to push my way into a fight or anything, but don't you think that's a bit much? No one agrees perfectly on religious ideas or practices, but it doesn't mean one has to be rude. I myself am Pagan, and I get loads of crap about satan worship when really, it's pretty much just the appreciation of nature. You don't have to be so vulgar. Again, I'm not trying to fight, but I am trying understand why this is such a problem.

  • @DieF1228 Actually, what's a bit 'much', is that the world has given into this islamic bullshit for far too long. That cult of death for the mentally insane needs to be killed.

  • definitely fake! stradivarius labeled his violins like that... it would say " Antonius Stradivarius Cremoninfis Faciebat Anno " - Made by Antonio Stradivari of Cremona Made in the year." then the year is imprinted...

  • thank you for these 35 seconds of precious insight of this Strad COPY, and a very cheap looking one too!! dou....g

  • Excuse me, but if this was an actual Stradivarius, WHY THE F*** WOULD YOU TAKE IT APART???!!!

  • @DieF1228 they are taken apart and repaired several times during the couse of their life. it's not odd.

  • @dickravis Yes, but I wouldn't think they would post a video of it on youtube...It's like videotaping the cleaning of Mona Lisa. (Oh, and sorry about my outburst...I get a bit touchy about mishandling instruments. They don't look like they're putting much care into moving it...)

  • @DieF1228 This is a cheap student instrument. I'm not sure what the point of the video is, but real Stradivari violins do get taken apart sometimes, usually for repairs if they are damaged or have some structural fault that needs to be corrected. They are very old instruments and need a lot of TLC and work from very skilled technicians to keep them working right after about 300 years of use. The ones in museums of course are just dead instruments like a dead animal head on someone's wall.

  • Comment removed

  • @DieF1228 um, for repairs. String instruments are designed so that they can be taken apart and re-assembled without compromising the sound.

  • FAke lollllllllll

  • clearly a very cheap violin the label looks nothing like one you would find in a strad (label is the last thing you look at when appraising an instrument) just looking at the varnish and how plain the wood is you can tell it's fake.

There are around 500 Strads known in the world, and it's not likely more will ever be found.

  • Ha ha ha, Good joke...

  • stradivarius signed his violins... its just the writtings on the paper that is not authentis in just one look... this is fake...

  • LOL!

  • è il tipico violino della scuola Cremonese.........caz, lonsbatte pure sul tavolo ah ah ah

  • who would put tapes on a strad

  • First, Stradivari didn't label his violins. Second, his name was Antonio Stradivari, his instruments take the latin version of him name, 'Stradivarius'.

  • You motherfucker....that´s a bullshit instrument

  • Comment removed

  • @happyhonker123 Stradivari was a family, and yeah, they did.

  • @happyhonker123 yes he did.

They say something along the lines of "antonius stradivarius facibat anno (date)"

    But that label is fake.

  • @happyhonker123 yes he did.

  • EL CRAPPO

  • Sì! Adesso ci mettiamo ad aprire i violini che costano dei milioni. Ma chi ci crede? Ah...

  • @The9chri6

Ahahaha... Ma questo e pazzo! Chi lo crede?

  • copy model

  • CHINA OF SHIT

  • nice job.You broke off some of the wood.

Good thing it's a copy but it's still worth a couple of grand.

  • a couple of grand of what? certainly not money!!!

  • some of the good copies from the late

19th century are worth some money but it's lost now after this abortion.

  • @rw5791

I had a Strad copy that looks just like this one. I was told by a professional luthier who said it's worth $40.

  • Stradivarius? Oh, please... -_-

  • totally FAKE!!!!

  • if this was a genuine Stradivarius he wouldnt have dared open it up, they are worth about $5,000,000

  • @ImNotPretending Obviously this is a copy but, do you really believe that a violin can be played for $300 years and not need an overhaul?

  • if i had a stradivarius violin i would not put stickers on the finger board even if i needed them. why is the violin opened up ??

  • @glitterXX2 bc hes and idiot

  • hey that's fake surely we know by the paint and sticker

  • FAKE. I think?

  • And this is why we don't look at labels children

  • Really? Is that why it's made of plywood and has stickers for where to put your fingers?

  • No way is that a Strad. It's a poorly made recent copy. Hope you didn't pay much.

  • fake!

  • esto esunacopia alemana....sele ve por encima jajajajajajaj.

  • wow u still use tape on ur fingerboard

  • It might be a germany copy, seeing as they mass produced them, and sold them in the us during the early 1900s.

    anyway the quality looks crappy.

  • oh and the location and owner of every remaining strad is known, so this obviously isn't one.

  • It is more of a possibility that it is a copy, mainly because the stradivarius violins are a one piece back instrument...this has two pieces. Plus, didn't Antonio Stradivari sign the tag on the inside himself?

  • Who in their right mind purchases a Stradivarius and then opens it up and shows it on youtube? i coulndn't bear to open my 400 dollar iPhone to unlock it back in the day. This is truly a fake.

  • that's not a strad. that's a cheap chinese copy. Dahhh xD

  • The tag says "Copy of Antonius Stradivarius"

  • It's not a real strad.

Strad violins are signed "Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Anno 17XY" or "Antonius Stradivarius Faciebat Anno 17XY", not only Antonius Stradivarius 17XY.

  • @tyuzynho are you serious? My grandpa gave me a violin and it says "Antonius Stradivarius Faciebat Anno 17XY" :)

  • every strad are signed as I said, but not all signed like that are strad's.

  • are you sure that's real?

    LOL

  • See, It may LOOK like a strad, but even if you couldnt tell by the purfling on the belly of the violin, you can tell its fake by the label which SHOULD read

"Antonio Stradivarius Cremonisis Facibat ano (Year)" and then his signature at the bottom.
