It sucks because there is no longer a community on diablo 1 and the community on d2 is kind of shitty now. Few people are there for fun. Most are only there to gain items and lvl up characters like it is their job. I think what happened is most of us regular people moved on after a while and now it is just the hardcore nerd types for the most part that are playing. There will be 15 trade games and only 1 or 2 games just for fun on a good night. I have not played for a few years though.

Whenever you play online, if you're in your human mode, some random dude for shits and giggles and invade your world, and kick the shit out of you. The spiritual sequel ,Dark Souls recently came out for PS3 aswell as 360, so if this sounds interesting to you, check either of them out. Be careful tho, the games are hard as fuck.

Nothing like mining ore in an obscure and vacant solar system only to see someone enter the system and wonder whether they're just passing through, or are a pirate who's hunting miners.

As far as government knowledge of the attack beforehand, there was a terabyte of data collected by the Information Dominance Center but it was considered unconstitutional and deleted because there was information on American citizens which had been collected without a warrant.

Paul, I can "one up" your regret story. When I was a young, innocent, gullible, naive in-love romantic 19 year old I had a 16 year old girlfriend who I loved very much. I thought she loved me too. Diablo is a fun game, I used to play an online game called Asheron's Call which has the same PvP system, where you won't know who will up and kill you out of nowhere. I love that intense rush of online combat, a very unique experience.

I think that the "bad intelligence" thing wasn't so much people making things up (obviously there were likely a few incidents of this), but more along the lines of people saying things like "I wonder if he has biological weapons?" or "It's possible that he may have drones.", and then someone misinterpreting these things as confirmed facts. I'm not saying that the U.S. government never made anything up, but that the whole question to gossip to "confirmed" fact probably had a bigger involvement.

Paul, I can "one up" your regret story. When I was a young, innocent, gullible, naive in-love romantic 19 year old I had a 16 year old girlfriend who I loved very much. I thought she loved me too. We had been together for years on and off. I say on and off because even though I felt certain that she loved me she kept breaking up with me then coming back. ANYHOW at 19 I joined the US Navy and we "got back together" in boot camp.

We got engaged, had a long distance relationship and talked daily. I pumped MOST of my paycheck into a pay telephone and used ALL of my leave and long weekends to fly home and be with her. I was certain we were in love. We made it over 3 years like this. With 9 MONTHS left to my enlistment she was in college, ruthlessly broke up with me despite my begging, citing “wanting to see other people” She was my everything and I was easily discarded.

Heartbroken, I rushed into a relationship with a very attractive young woman that I hardly knew, got married, had a kid, STAYED in the US Navy (which I hated), got into debt, got divorced after we learned we hated each other, owed child support, and got tangled up in the Navy, despite my pretty much hating it, for just under 13 years.

Diablo is a fun game, I used to play an online game called Asheron's Call which has the same PvP system, where you won't know who will up and kill you out of nowhere. I love that intense rush of online combat, a very unique experience.

I agree with you that it is right to question the american government. But ive looked through many of the conspiracy theories put forth by Loose Change and such, and they jump to very large conclusions without any evidence, so as a skeptic i have to say that those are bullshit. Yes the American government lied to us, no shit, they always do, but the claim that they organized the whole thing lacks evidence and logic

WOW man, great video! i didn't think i would watch all 45 minutes of it, you're a great storyteller. also, i feel like i've had some similar experiences as you. i got out of a terrible relationship (my first and only relationship so far, i'm 23) last summer. it lasted 2.5 years, not as long as urs, but still. also, when i was 16 i had a short (2 month) internet relationship with a girl i met online, that ended in her lying about her age, much younger than i thought.

I think that the "bad intelligence" thing wasn't so much people making things up (obviously there were likely a few incidents of this), but more along the lines of people saying things like "I wonder if he has biological weapons?" or "It's possible that he may have drones.", and then someone misinterpreting these things as confirmed facts. I'm not saying that the U.S. government never made anything up, but that the whole question to gossip to "confirmed" fact probably had a bigger involvement.

It's more of a theory about a conspiracy, but not a "Conspiracy Theory©". The problem is if you so much as theorize about a conspiracy, the tin foil hat crew think you're one of them. It's a mindset - almost religious - of trying to piece together every event as part of a grand unified whole, directed by unseen forces with seemingly superhuman power, and for which the evidence is the lack of evidence against it. Example: Birds die; the US did it! Egypt revolts; the US did it! Earthquake happens; the US did it! For examples, look at the top comments on RussiaToday's videos.

The bigger the event and the more people involved, the less likely a conspiracy is involved. That's why moon-hoaxers are morons. The American government could not have been involved in planning 9/11, but it's possible they might have covered up some embarrassing facts about their incompetence in preventing it or things like that.
