  • he sounds like bam magera

  • Thanks for wideo. This is the new level for me. And i think storing the rope in rope bag is alot more confort and practical when you use it. on climbing. See ya

  • So you don't need to perfectly coil the rope to store it in a rope bag?

  • @BIOJECT no you dont need a perfect coil if you have a rope bag. If you are storing the rope without a bag you need to use the proper technique of coiling the rope. The method is similar to storing a rope for a toss bag, it will uncoil easier if its not in standard wraps.

(note: this only works if the rope is wrapped up tight afterward like he did, it wont work in a duffel or backpack)

  • My friend is a third generation timber man, and he uses farm feed bags or burlap. The willy-nilly stowage method used here is correct! Both fast, and non-tangling.

I no longer hang out with tree climbers much. But I keep my electrical extension cords in buckets, nowadays. Kind of a similar principle: fast, correct, and yet no tangles.

  • You're a tool

  • Remember I'm a d-bag and storing your rope can be dangerous and deadly.

  • haha, what

  • awesome vid! thanks for the tip
