@ratchet570 you have a mii lifted in the air, you make his arm/leg move over the circle then there will be a done button that makes the mii drop in the same position he/she is in to land on the circle that is reqired to land on and if you shake the wii remote during another person's turn you fall and if you put the arm in the wrong spot, it wont count

Oh, and just to awnser your question. The reason why they used Yahtzee Hands Down instead of the original Yahtzee game is b/c Yahtzee was already in the first "Family Game Night" videogame. So they thought Hands Down would be pretty good to put in instead the of putting the same game from the first version.

lol, i can see Family Game Night 2 & 3 is gonna be on the "Top 10 Worst Games I Reviewed in 2011" this year. I know its only March and it sounds too early to make a list. But think about it, this is the 2nd failed game Hasbro made. If you never played the 1st one, it had 5 games. Sorry!, Boggle, Battleship, Yahtzee, and Connect 4. Suprisingly, it was actually a pretty good game, better than the sequals. How did they mess them up? I would be suprised if Hasbro is gonna make "Family Game Night 4".

Actually, the reason why Yahtzee: Hands Down was included in this game instead of the original was because the original one was included in the first Family Game Night. For some reason, Hasbro never includes a board game again from their previous games. However, I'm not sure if you ever played the first one since you never reviewed it.

My 5-year old sister loves this game. But, you did forget to mention one downside about Life, there are minigames that you have to play in order to get some things like a house, but the minigames are too easy. If you win the house minigame, you get to pick any house that you want that is unowned, so the game becomes a bit of a race in order to get the best house. Also, I can't beat my father in the court minigame because whoever shakes the wiimote harder and faster wins. I hate these minigames.

I remember The game of Life for having more than two or three stops you had to stop for houses go back to school, graduating, etc... So I don't see how they could add more. For twister, I think I once saw a tv commercial that had you actually remember the colors then step on them (like a Simon for feet I guess. I did not plan to get that anyways cuz all the games on this title (except the yathzee card game) I have at home :P.

From experience, I've learned not to request games for Wiiviewr, for 2 reasons:

1) There's no point in requesting a game that you really like. He's either going to have the exact same opinion as you are, or he's going to bash the game (and if you're a diehard fanboy, that will hurt your feelings).

2) He said, himself, that he doesn't take requests. I begged him TONS of times to review The Conduit once, but nothing happened.

i think the reason that yahtzee is the card format is because i think the original version has it (i played it on xbox it might be different for wii).
