I don't have a problem at all with evolution. I think it's a very probable theory with good evidence. There is also evidence against it(by science standards), Remember, I am very agnostic even as I say this, but I see no problem with a god creating the universe(big bang too) and having us evolve up to where we are. For starters, I'm an electrical engineer, my mom is a Pharm D, working for alcon labs doing clinical trials on monkeys. Scientist? Gee, I guess so.

Now, if you want to talk about "lack of evidence", then I suggest you learn some of the historical parallels with the bible. Noah's flood - SCIENTISTS have a promising theory that the black sea, and I could be wrong which sea just off the top of my head, was actually the historic flood. They know it was created some 4-5 thousand years ago in a massive breaking of a natural barrier to the outside sea/ocean. Do some research - fairly interesting.

I don't have a problem at all with evolution. I think it's a very probable theory with good evidence. There is also evidence against it(by science standards), Remember, I am very agnostic even as I say this, but I see no problem with a god creating the universe(big bang too) and having us evolve up to where we are. For starters, I'm an electrical engineer, my mom is a Pharm D, working for alcon labs doing clinical trials on monkeys. Scientist? Gee, I guess so.

So I was just wondering.. okay, all you atheists out there.. I understand you don't believe in God or Jesus, or deities and you're real proud of yourselves for that, so High five yourselves.. just a thought though, do you have to be such arrogant pricks about it? You all look remind me of spoiled little kids talking who talk back to their parents when they punish them or something. Show some class. Save the profanity a bit.

magrff, profanity is a crutch for the inarticulate mother fucker. That said, I can handle the profanity, but for fuck sakes, save it for when it's needed. I mean..FUCK! Yeah we can all sit around saying Fuck this and fuck that and this shit is fucked. but will it really help in an intelligent conversation? fuck no! btw, i wasn't rebuking anything, just stating an observation, you once again proved my point. I think we're all going to believe what we believe based on our own personal life experiences. Our beliefs may change based on new knowledge or wisdom we attain. That's why I think it's kind of pointless to try and push our beliefs on others. But lets please all respect each other beliefs.

But, I refuse to respect belief systems that promote suicide bombings,flying planes into building, ostracizing gays, etc. etc. I'm sure you don't adhere to anything associated with this, however religion does have a little blood on it's hands presently

people who carry out those acts of evil are not true christians or muslims. they're misguided and they've misinterpreted what it says in their holy books. this is not a good case against religion. There are dangerous hate-filled zealots of all beliefs including atheism. we all have blood on our hands. here's another eloquent mantra: don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

God is no respecter of persons. Adam gave the world to satan. satan is the ruler of this world. We lost fellowship with God because of Adam but that will change when Jesus comes back for His church. Believe on Jesus and repent!
