That was fabulous footage, thanks so much for sharing. (My ancestors are Roetzer's from Oberbayern, the town of Roetz, I think). This trip was a lot cheaper to travel through your eyes, LOL! I absolutely loved the shots of the beautiful ducks.
That was some great footage, and the stills were wonderful, but what absolutely blew me away were those closeups of the ducks! Either they're not shy or you have one super telephoto lens!
Hehe, the ducks weren't shy ... guess they expected some food. But also I know how to come closer to them. But some still have fear. The male (the beautiful one with the green head) got nervous when I came closer, the female was curious so I got great shots of her :o)
Thank you ... yes it is! It was the first time I was on a riverboat and I really enjoyed it. Oh wait, I just remember I was on a riverboat once before in France with my school class. But with the four castles this tour was so awesome
hehehe, lots of these ducks here ... seems they're everwhere. But I also get the chance to see more often a Mandarin duck (chinese duck, most people know it as Peking duck on the plate - but a very beautiful duck if it is alive (especially the male)).
you're welcome ;o) I loved the trip so I had to share it ... still has one more footage of the trip with some eagles and vultures ... but it will take some time as the video material of my digi is in MOV format (and it's not so easy to convert it)
Recently I have been playing around with a game called Rome -total war which as you would expect takes place in Europe and so it was really good to get a peek at this beautiful part of Germany. I can just imagine the Germanic tribes warring in the forests. eheh sorry- you show me a beautiful peaceful scene and I am imagining war and bloodshed. oh and I like that music too.
hehehe, no worries ;o) I sometimes love to play Age of Empires ;o))) Some castles are also really great in imaging about the life some hundred years ago
Hehe, yeah the ducks at the end weren't shy ... maybe I am the duck whisperer LOL ... but the male duck had some fear. The female was curious about me, hehe. And then came the swans ;o)
hmmmm, BFD? :-P But I am living at the Svabian part of the Blackforest (Württemberg) ... the part of Baden is much more interesting of the Blackforest ;o)
yeah... time is very limited ... I also wanted to edit some more stuff at the weekend but I was on this trip from Friday to Saturday evening and still enough footage of some more stuff ... plus I want to film something new ... lot on my To Do list
That was fantastic! Such a professional footage and a wonderful Landschaft. Thanks for sharing. I love it!
