Funny thing is, dude, Konami DID make this. This is an official track from the Sega Saturn version of Symphony of the Night. Look it up. It's called "Beginning" from the inverted Castle's Garden beneath the entrance.

@Roeau I used to, but I had a crappy version that was slightly corrupted. But it was labeled as final fantasy and zelda. which I knew it wasn't, but didn't know what it was until i listened to some music recently from castlevania, and shat bricks when I heard that tune. Hopefully i'll finally get this version in all it's glory!

This song is from the Japanese version, Castlevania Symphony of the Night on the SEGA Saturn. I have the import of this game, I use the Game Shark to unlock the game so it can be played on my system.

@The1truesushiboy this is an unreleased virsion of beginning that only came out on sega saturns nocturn in the moonlight (aka japanies virsion of symphony of the night) hahaha dude if u have the program audacity lower the pitch to -38.00 and damn its sounds awsome just thought id tell u all

@RCDeschene I wasn't trying to disprove that, was just pointing out that in Japan both the PSX and Saturn versions share the title "Nocturne in the Moonlight." The name "Symphony of the Night" is specific to the western release. After rereading your comment I realized that perhaps you knew that. I was acting under the assumption you thought that only the Saturn version was called "Nocturne in the Moonlight."
